There's just something about the whips these guys are doing now that looks unreal. It's getting real close to a full 180 then back around again.

Good work by H&H and Monster on this event.

Best part about freestyle. I hope people outside the sport start noticing, so whips can continue to progress like that. If guys were getting rewarded more for throwing like that, the sport would be a lot more interesting.

Sorry but after all the baseball on tv lately, if baseball is going to be called a sport then damn it freestyle can be too.

BTW did anyone catch the aerodynamic air vents they have on baseball helmets now? Funniest thing I've seen in a while. My baseball fan friend said they are for improved ventilation. WTH for? Do those guys ever even sweat? Reminded me of those fake air vents every idiot puts on the front fender of their car to make it look sportier.

Where did I say any of those were not sports?

Freestyle is not a sport for sure. I question how NASCAR is a sport? On my way to work today I turned right and left does that make me an athlete?

I'm not sure how freestyle isn't a sport. But anyway, lets be real, if you were only taking left hand turns at 140mph with other bumpers a foot away from yours, you'd probably wreck your brains out.

I'm not even close to a nascar fan but it is much different than driving to work.

Try again I have done the Porsche driving school and dabbled with a few road courses. I don't see how NASCAR is a sport. Maybe Rally is but it still sucks to watch.

Freestyle is JUDGED and half the time the guy that wins is just more popular.

I never said all sports are fair, who cares if it is judged. I realize the best guy doesn't always win but that is just a reality. In football/hockey/whatever sometimes the ref throws a game with a crappy call. Saying they aren't sports is just ignorant.

I think it is rediculous how self proclaimed racers feel freestyle isn't a sport yet I bet a good portion of freestyle riders could smoke them on a race track.

So after taking a Porsche driving school you feel that all car racing isn't sport? Maybe rally but it sucks to watch? Some mx races suck to watch but I would still consider it a bunch of people participating in a sport.

A lot of Olympic sports are judged, you should make sure to inform the Olympic committee, and inform the athletes, that they are not participating in sports because they are being judged.

sport
[spawrt, spohrt] Show IPA
–noun
1.an athletic activity requiring skill or physical prowess and often of a competitive nature, as racing, baseball, tennis, golf, bowling, wrestling, boxing, hunting, fishing, etc.

I never claimed to be Richard Petty i simply have done a little driving. It is fun but it is hardly as physically demanding as Basketball, Football, or MX.

Freestyle is physically demanding and amazing at times but as an MX enthusiast I just don't get the satisfaction out of watching it.

Most of the so called sports in the Olympics aren't sports either.

So is formula 1 a sport simply because the G-forces are greater and require a tremendous amount of physical ability and athleticism? Or what about 24 hour races where the drivers are subjected to constant g-forces for 3 hours at a time in 120 degree environments? Because I know damn well those guys have to physically train very hard to be able to sustain those environments. But I guess Nascar isn't a sport because it's less of a physical strain.

That's like saying pro motocross is a sport but amateur motocross is not because none of us go fast enough to really have to train like the pros train.

probably didn't have to watch any freestyle to figure out that pattern, maybe just followed the results on the web? You sound like a disgruntled freestyle fan. Wink

I am not really a fan of Freestyle. Just about anytime there are motorcycles on TV I am tuned in. I am a two wheel junkie.

F-1=amazing cars and boring racing
nascar=comparatively slow and bulky cars with great racing.

just my opinion.
