I really wish people were capable of having discussions about this without bias or quickly devolving into insults. It honestly interests me, factoring in all the things that go into producing gas vs EV, long term care, where power is derived from charging, amount of moving/wear parts, etc. But it's usually "it's electric so it's all sunshine and rainbows" or "lol battery fires and coal plants", followed by a picture of a copper mine labeled as a lithium mine, or an article saying that your paid for 2001 diesel that's bulletproof and doesn't need many replacement parts is the reason...

Sorry to disappoint you but Stark is already profitable and doesn't need a cash dump, unlike KTM.

Studies have shown EVs are better for the environment after 2 years of ownership roughly. Charging your Stark can be a pain, you'll have to lug around a generator unless you have a gas or EV truck with a 240V outlet outboard. Then that's even easier than lugging around a gas can.

I have no horse in this race, I'm still on an ICE engine and I'm purchasing a new 350 SX-F next month. However, I think we should give credit to the innovations being made here, whether we like the direction of electric bikes or not. Traditional manufacturers haven’t changed many aspects of their bikes in decades, and perhaps seeing Stark make these kinds of advancements will push others to evolve and offer options that carry over to ICE bikes. Things like Stark’s chain adjuster, CNC hubs, better foot pegs, waterproof aluminum map switches, one-piece wiring harness, rethinking how we secure...

Really between this and a 450 coming off a 250 2 stroke. I was a bit apprehensive after seeing the italian videos but these videos from Neville paint the bike in a different light

Neville Bradshaw has got his hands on a 350RX 2 stroke - good choice from Beta, if it's directly from them / the Brit importer. He's still a High Level rider, and, quite a 2 stroke enthusiast : riding / racing all sorts, especially 500s. This appears that it might be the start of a series of videos about his racing the 350 :

Others may have been doing it for a longtime. But the way it has taken over with am riders doing it more and more is a new thing. None of the other guys made it THE way to ride. I'm sure that they did on a smaller scale than it appears Jett is doing now. I think that is the real point the OP is making. More of Jett getting the style to become so popular. I remember riding with some fast local pros that would ride that way, standing in turns and low in the RPMs . They did...

For making 450 racing exciting today. That Moto 2 was heating up to be the moto of the year until the red flag. I hope that rider is okay. Great ride Chase.

I don’t know why Honda didn’t think of this cheating thing during that 20 year drought they had without a title?

Wildest takes I’ve read this year… 1) Honda paid officials at High Point to have the race called once Jett was in position to take the overall 2) Honda paid officials at Spring Creek to not penalize Jo for jumping on the Red Cross flag Anddddd.. 3) This post

Next they'll claim honda is hacking the other teams ecu's during the race. Making the other teams bikes slower. With Jewish lazers too.

I think I'd wait on a few more reviews first. This guy seemed to be really off put by it doesn't have a class to race in bs and just kept getting hang up on that. A kept saying because of that it's not a real serious race bike. That review was pretty crappy actually.

I am sure it is a good bike and will have enough power for an amateur weekend warrior, but it will be a docile, linear kind of torquey power... more of a tractor than an arm stretching rocket ship. If you plan to race seriously with 450 4T's, the italian video said you would be better off with the 450 4T. Except for the start, for most of us at the amateur level, the competiveness is based more on the rider than the bike these days, w/o a doubt. I would like to ride one at the Beta ride day...
