The first test rides of the Beta 2026 250 and 350 RX's are up on Youtube. There are a lot more Italian test videos up now. I dont speak Italian, but I translated the comments of others that listened to the video. The 250 2T makes sense to every rider, but the 350 2T is very controversial, being aimed at older amateur riders and not something that could be a serious racer in stock form. I think Beta made the right move in terms of positioning in terms of being able to sell more units, but it certainly seems it is no fire-breathing monster. Imagine how confused I was when it was explained to me that racing an electric bike with gas bikes in Endurocross was much too dangerous to ever allow. . . ya know even though I did that very thing for two years prior without a single issue. All of a sudden when KTM group threw their shit fit about Taddy trying to race the Varg it magically became a safety concern. The interesting part of that story is the AMA has actually been pretty consistent on this and never officially allowed them in competition, but Endurocross was more or less...

correction- Beta is now better than KTM.

Some of the land they want to sell off includes some of the best single track riding in the world. The fine folks of Utah need to turn their brains on at some point and vote Mike Lee out of office, dudes a dirt bag.

The 350 has the same gearbox as the 250 (13-50) with 13-47 gearing. Thing will be really fast, ultimate desert weapon. As long as it has some decent top end, but that can be tuned with a good head cut and some porting anyways. God, is good to be alive!

Try to take a little breather on the political hate and enjoy the racing. Life is too short to try to put a negative spin on the stuff you'd normally like to watch.
