Great opportunity for them, hopefully they make the most of it. It's interesting that neither of them are heading to Quad lock Honda, but I guess they are already pretty full

So good that guys are willing to make the leap, it’s a big gamble. Will be interesting to see how they progress

Its a shame Aus and NZ cant compete in MXON as one team. They were one colony only 200 years ago.

Interesting considering we have nothing in the way of industry or facilities in comparison to the USA….

I don’t think we have ever been “one” with NZ.

Another year would have been good… I’m sure Ben knows better than us though. Interesting if they stay Yamaha or go Kawi given Ben and mitch’s relationship.

If you don't have dreams of racing Supercross and want to be a motocross champion, 100% staying in Europe and aiming for MXGP would be the best decision, but if the dream is Supercross, there is only one country on the planet to go to if you want to be the best.

Maybe one day someone will run a successful World Supercross Championship and that might change, but I think recent history shows that is a long long long way from every happening.

Well there was a little place called Gondwana 100 million years ago 😂 but more recently, the Australian and New Zealand colonies were jointly administered by the British from 1788 to 1840 as New South Wales.

I have more useless facts if you’d like? Meanwhile I can’t remember where I put my beer down……

Back in the day there were some great Aus guys and even in my early teen years I wondered why they never took the leap. As a punk kid even I understand the ama series was the big leagues. I understand more now just how big of a risk and gamble it is but I honestly think some of the guys could've gone far.

Good to see more take the chance. Maybe they've got good financial support? Not sure. Good on them though.

Look, we gave you Russel Crowe, we let you share the flat white(even tho ours is way bettererer). We'll even let you have Shared Custody of Pavlova (even those it's ours) and you have the hide and heart of the great kiwi horse Phar Lap, but NEVER as one team!!!!!!

Hope Jake Cannon makes the full time move to the states in the future. And there's the 85 world champion Blake Bohannon coming up. I wish Regan Duffy didn't have that injury.

"We" would have been regular on the podium for the last 20 odd years.

King brothers, Dack, Leiske, Townley, Coppins, Byrnee, Reed, Cooper, Metcalfe and many more.

We Could Be Soon!:

This from The Gruen Transfer, an OZ show about Advertising.

Years before this, there was a near instantly banned version of this ( I think it may have been called 'Enslave NZ ' ? ), that was far more full - on, and utterly Hilarious. It Upset a fair few / made many laugh their arses off. It can't be found.

We Luvs Yuz Kiwis !

Here's the full segment from The Gruen Transfer, with the 2 ad agencies 'attempts' :

Yeh I’ve heard this comment with Chad and look at how his kids have been. I’d take a Ben over Chad any day though.

Some kids have it and some don’t…. No matter who their old man is.

If it hasn’t been mentioned yet, Blake Bohannon is the next big thing coming from Australia. That kid at 13 is a great rider.
