Shew, that one was tough to get through.

Jeez, why the bashing? I thought it was a great listen. Excited to see where he will end up. He sounds pretty excited and confident about his new team
Charred Racing Yamaha
won 3 out of 4 championships this year.
Aldon won a lot too and they all retired in their mid 20s. The joke is that it’s a meat grinder, not that they don’t win 😉
Man, I feel bad for Michael Mosiman. He's someone that almost never gets talked about, but I think he's very underrated. Yes, he's been bedridden with injuries, but he has arguably shown more speed than a lot of 250 guys that are getting factory rides. For example, Nick Romano getting the PC ride but is someone who will not be able to consistently get podiums or immediately have speed, like Mosiman.
What's interesting, about Michael Mosiman is no matter how many injuries he has, he's almost always back to podium-level speed within 2 to 3 races. Even this year, he was leading Anaheim 2 for quite a while before Deegan eventually got him, but still got 2nd.
What's also been perplexing to me is the disparity between why some riders have so many injuries versus others that seem to never get injured.
I wonder to what extent it is that these riders have to ride over their heads/above their limit in order to maintain a race-winning pace, and thus crash too much (i.e., they could go slower to ride more safely and not crash as often, thus less injuries, but then they wouldn't be able to get podiums). Someone like McAdoo for example fits this bill.
Or Is it something else like lower processing speed and reaction time, or the fact that some riders physically may have more fragile bones (e.g., Jeffrey Herlings always talks about: how weak his bones are), or is it athletic ability/gymnastics (e.g., Deegan/Gajser seem to never gets hurt because he's able to quickly barrell roll out of crashes, whereas other riders seem to not know what to do when they begin to fall off their bike).
He crashes too much, that's why he doesn't get talked about and gets injured often.
One thing i notice and appreciate about Mosi is that he never fades back. Every time I saw him this summer, he was moving forward. He hit the deck a number of times but was always moving forward. The only times he was ever passed it seems was for the lead at Millville by Beaumer, and maybe by like Davies sometime (and he wound up as the champion), but thats it
Nice vid. The Mosiman bro’s are good peeps. Looking forward to seeing Michael back out there!
4-5 years ago he was neck and neck with Jett.
some make it, some don't.....good luck Mike!
A good team manager is like a good coach, they know how to get the best out of each person, some you scream at, some you encourage, some you give them a hug and tell them they are great.
Star seems a little like “it’s our way or the highway”
Now I say that with zero inside knowledge of how the program is run, but it would explain why there are people that love it there and people that hate it.
"Boy, lift your shirt so I can see your abs" 😀
Bobby is like the security guy at the mall who caught a 16 year old girl shop lifting.
Pit Row
Ya, that was pretty creepy
I played the first half normal speed, second half 2x speed
Low key called out Bobby as a groomer 😝
I watched the whole thing and I never heard the "Why I left Yamaha". Did God tell him too or did I doze off?
Thanks for confirming my suspicion. I didn't watch it because I thought if he needed 20+ minutes to answer the question, it meant he wasn't going to answer the question.
You're telling me that a guy who spends millions on millions of his own money to build a team of 16-24 year old boys/young men who perform for him might be kinda weird?
Ever see the movie Foxcatcher?
I don’t need to watch it to answer why he left. Because he didn’t get an offer. Pretty simple.
LOL ouch.
Future riders should have the spray painted abs done. Bobby couldn’t tell the difference over zoom.
Eric Sorby said he used to put on cycling shorts and lay in a tanning bed so he'd have a tan line and Mitch would think he'd been training on his road bike.
Who’s ever gonna forget about the time he took Jett out in Supercross on the 250s. From the podium, he reminded everyone that he’s a Christian and that he is a savage just like Jesus. 🤣
