I seen a couple last year I believe and haven't seen any sense. I talked to a couple guys who had them they seem to like them but after hearing about the transmission issues I know I would never buy one
Vital is rot sometimes…new bike manufacturer …spending money on the sport, sponsoring riders. And these are the comments. Because nobody else has ever had a recall..
Owned my Triumph TF450x and loved it, sadly had to sell due to life stuff popping up. Hope to see them figure it all out. I checked my old vin and saw it would have been one of the bikes to be recalled.

Stepping up to fix a problem..
Rocker arm is pretty serious. that should be in their wheel house. like, one of the few parts they probably make in-house along with the head casting right?
also, they forgot to step up and TSB the transmission. not the first time. many such cases with Triumph. oh, they'll get around to it in a year or two. eventually.
US and Canada? And nothing in Europe? Or have they just sold very few of them there? The bike itself is really good, especially the chassis, but for a new bike it seems to have some pretty serious issues: gearbox problems, clutch issues, electrical problems, and now this...
They’ve invested a lot of money in racing and building their image. They’ve just won the MX2 World Championship, but if they don’t sort out these problems, it will be interesting to see what the future holds for them.
So it's not the transmission, and it wad issued almost 3 weeks ago. Triumph wait to drop the news until season was over?

So Triumph sold 1560 450s in two years time in this country?
Quick math, that's around 10 million dollars a year gross on a 13k bike?
Where are they? i have seen only a few out at track days past couple years

Unfortunately only Fools will buy one .
😯
I can’t believe that one particular person here hasn’t chimed in.
Sean is that you??🤣
Talk about the kiss of death…
No, Sean and I parted ways🤣
I rode Justin Wallis’s triumph 450 and another friends 250F. I was genuinely really impressed with the bike. Probably my favorite chassis out rn
RC will tell you how great they are while he collects his mailbox money
That actually seems high to me - might be sold 1560 to dealers and 500 to customers? But still skinny numbers. Ouch.
Doesn't it though? Hardly seems worthwhile.
So glad I bought a Stark instead ⚡

Anyone have info on what the fix is, or if there is a fix yet? Can't sell the inventory they do have without a fix.
Pit Row
It says in the recall they are replacing the cylinder head. Kind of crazy they're not doing more about the transmission🤷♂️
What happened to that a-hole who was all pissy that Triumph wouldn’t buy his bike back? 😂
He’s too busy polishing his C class trophies.

I'm a nerd for recall data, from previous recalls, Honda sells about 4k CRF450 (and as much CRF250) annually in the US.
So Triumph would be about 1/5 of that.

People won't touch that bike without them fixing at minium the clutch, and preferably also electronics issues.
I don't get how they can continue to build a brand knowing about the major clutch issues but not fixing it.

2027 models?
Same. I’ve seen two in the wild…ironically one belonged to a certain suspension guy with pending legal battles in that other thread.
Not every couple years like Triumphs recall?
This is like Cannondale, only with way less innovation.
