Three “A” riders in one truck?

What could go wrong with that?

‘The KTM home for reformed ex Kawi riders’ has a bit of a ring to it

There’s not too many spots open other than Ducati and maybe HEP. Sexton said about a week ago that he plans to get on the bike by mid-October. He didn’t indicate a switch or anything (business as usual).

A little food for thought on this, Kawasaki just hired a mechanic away from pc to work for Mookie. I asked him why don’t they move over Montoya for him, he said because he will be with Chase next year. I said are you sure, he said as far as he knew.

Why do people keep saying Chase to MXGPs? lol IMO he stays at Kawi because he doesnt really have anywhere else to go. It is what it is, hopefully he keeps his head down and tries his hardest and comes out firing. He’s won on the bike, so it is capable.

I don't think it's a new frame. Maybe I'm wrong but I think it's mostly a new Swingarm, linkage, and some motor changes.

I wonder what Chase is thinking watching Jorge win the SMX series...

Looks like a new frame.

Waiting to see sone ride reviews before pulling the trigger on the new Honda or KX

Matthes went a step further on review pod and said he thinks sexton and kawasaki have already come to an agreement on separating.

a PRMX/Yamaha Factory bike/parts deal is what he seems to be hinting at as well, but it all sounds a bit "I dont know man" to me.

New frame is based on the KX327 frame.  I read that Brock says it addresses the complaints riders have had.  Guess we’ll see.

I already envision Marchbanks and Mookie - the M&M team - having career years on the " new improved" Kawasaki, and Chase struggling on another bike/team that is presumably born bad.

From Kawasaki's website:

Ride with championship-ready confidence on the 2027 KX™450F motorcycle. An updated frame, revised suspension settings, and refined rider ergonomics help offer sharper handling and greater rider connection, while Brembo brake components supply elite stopping power.

Sexton's championship days are over. Jett could beat him consistently, now Hunter has raised his game, Deegan is on 450s, Prado is here, Cohnens are coming, and Davies will be 450 in '28 - if not outdoors '27. Chase can and will still win, but the championships are over. As evidenced by Eli's early season SX form, and Prado now, Sexton should have stayed Austrian.

Chase goes back to KTM and then Prado and the Coenens outperform him, then what? If that happens anyway?

Kawasaki was not negotiating from a position of strength, doubt they had much choice on giving Malcolm 2 years if they wanted to sign him.

Chase to KTM is an easy sell. KTM admits they had shock issues, which was nearly all of his issue there, and fills the void left by losing two fan favorites for two foreigners. Chase admits the grass wasn't greener elsewhere and shows some humility, signs bonus heavy deal, they kiss and make up. He gets back on the bike he went 40th to 1st on and won a title on and gets back to work.

Work with me here, I'm trying to manifest this into happening.

Actually he would be on a brand new bike if he went back to ktm.

Yep. Then he can blame the bike if it goes wrong, or praise it if things go well.

That's a bold take for Sexton to go back to ktm. He wasn't jiving with the team non necessarily the bike. Not to mention ktm has gotten pretty packed.

As to PRMX? Idk that's kind of a small  team with no real support. When Windham went to Factory Connection, Laracoo had a team that had support and honda promised a factory bike for Kdub. With the amount of support going to Star, Clubmx for bikes/parts I'm not sure prix would have much let alone a salary of any measure for him; Sexton would have to go over with just personal sponsors. Unless Monster is backing PRMX and funding salaries I doubt it.

Ducati obviously has a seat open but, again Sexton isnt cheap and the bike is noted to have a narrow setup window, at least for outdoors which feels like the opposite of what Sexton needs.

Steve Matthes reported Sexton is leaving Kawasaki.  Any thoughts on where he will go next??

Redesigned, not all new.  Chris Keefer mentioned this as well.  Kawasaki mentions intake and exhaust system mods prior to even mentioning the redesigned chassis.  Redesigned just means something has been changed in its appearance, structure, layout, or how it works. Should be better for Malcolm and Garrett, though.  According to Steve Matthes, Sexton is leaving.

I really like that all the Beta guys are on 2yr deals.

So how is Savatgys wrist that he broke in May?

Not trying be negative but some of these wrist injuries seem to linger and ruin careers (Stylez Robertson, Rick Johnson). I wonder how much of the hope method Joey and those wanting to sign him are doing as in "We hope it continues to get better"

We all know it worked out for Roczen and I seem to remember Hampshire having a dislocated/broken wrist that he came back from it. Even Craig with his gnarly elbow stuff appears to be normal again but Forkner wasn't so fortunate.
