I'm sorry but I'm not buying what they were selling. Wieg and Stew weren't sure what was going on. Katy wasn't sure. JT...........was just being JT.

Not everyone was in on it. Three long time veterans got podium spots.

But what I witnessed was Bunk! It was said a few times, a "punch to the face". I have all the respect in the world for Hunter. He's a phenominal racer and person. He's handled rough situations with grace and there is no one more humble. But what I saw at Ironman, I believe that punch to the face was in order. Anyway, congrats to the Lawrence bros. on your championship, 2026

You cant read at Hunter. Be disappointed in Jett, if you believe the fix was in

Not anything against Hunta at all. It was painful to watch Jett, and they kept the camera on him a lot. Jett got his first "bad" start after qualifying great. Struggled to even put in a decent lap for half the moto, then picked up the pace when Hunter was by. But didn't take too many spots in the first moto.

The 2nd moto was a lot easier for Jett "to manage" since Hunter and him were together from the beginning. So the part about letting the top couple go and then cruise it with Hunter behind didn't have to look near as bad. But yes, unfortunately for the fans of a great sport, the fix was in

So some fans didn't get what they wanted at the last race,  how quickly some have forgot what a great battle the Law Firm had for the first ten races.
Do we wonder if Hunter took a fall in the last SX to let Roczen win?

Do we analyze the video of Haiden tipping over right in front of Hunter in the first moto? No wash out and no wheel tuck, however I did hear aome people say that there was one hell of a wind gust blowing across the track which may have tipped Haiden over.
Was Bob the Hurricane Hannah in attendnce?

My solution for next season, lets get more riders in the top 5 which are only separated by 5 points going into the last round.  Lets give high doses of Morphine to all the riders before each moto so if they do get injured, they keep going at mach speed.

Congrats to all the Champions and thanks for a great outdoor season.

One of the most exciting in many years.

The sport is healthy. Social Media can be a powerful tool to grow the sport but can also cast a dark cloud over it by some dumb comments which many times are full of hate.

I woke up today and felt empty... both fights fizzled out into nothing, and we were left with more questions than answers.

The fact that every question about the series wont be about what we watched, but what we dont understand, is a shame.

The only thing that can give this legitimacy, at least in my eyes, is that Honda pull Jett from SMX.  Its a nothing series, nobody cares, i couldnt even tell you who won last year.  He needs rest and to fix up, and if he doesnt do that from tomorrow, it will always leave a nasty taste.

This will never ever go away .  People will never forget.

I am a huge fan of them both, I have a brother im very close to and as much as I don’t want to say it, the things you said resonate for me as well.  I have felt so bummed since the first moto yesterday.  Jett is a really kind person IMO and I think he did what he felt was right but I’m not sure there was a “right” other than to race his hardest which would’ve ripped away another championship from Hunter…it’s honestly a lose lose for them both after Deegans crash took HJ down.

This post is Not to take anything away from the first 10 races of our U.S. Nationals. Nor am I wanting to bash Jett hard on this. It was some professional C-class sandbagging in that first moto, and that just didn't sit well, nor was it a service to all of us fans to watch that. The story line had to unfold like it did because like I said in my post, Wieg and Stew were trying their honest best to call that first moto and even they struggled.

As fans, we know Jett, Hunter and the rest of this field very well. We can damn near call the podium before every race barring something major. So my point clearly is Jett's worst start of his career, and then his cruising around struggling to pass riders he can clearly blow past at will.

When Hunter finally did catch Jett, and pass him, Jett did pick up the pace for a few laps. But he still laid low for Hunter to cushion those points for the 2nd upcoming moto. With the first moto sandbagging complete, the 2nd moto was easier for Jett to let Deegs by and then match pace from there. We all know these guys. We all saw it.

I'm not as up set as I should be honestly. I guess I wanted Hunter to win a title in the 450 class, so it softens the blow to what should not have happened. But as fans of motocross, and a clean fair sport, it shouldn't have looked obvious. It shouldn't have happened.

Must have been one hell of a tape job by docG before moto 2.

Not sure what is more surprising, the fact that there are still new threads being created covering the same thing, or that some people are genuinely confused about what happened. There was collusion, but no confusion about what the plan was.

Please go back and rewatch the first moto and focus on Jett’s body position, specifically his right foot. He wasn’t lying.

This is the moment Hunter passed him; left hand corner, weight the right peg.

They zoomed in on Jett's pegs a few times yesterday and he was riding on his arches, not the balls of his feet. Seems to support the fact that he is hurt.

Maybe you’re all wrong.

Maybe Jett and Hunter conspired together to throw the last race so Prado could get a W before Deegan.

‘Sayin… 🤣

I'm a huge fan of the Lawrence family and I will remain one until the day that Deegan retires. I can understand Jett's turmoil yesterday, but this was the one and only Mulligan that I'm willing to give the Lawrence family.

There is precedence for this in the world of tennis. When the Williams sisters were dominating everything, the younger sister, Serena, emerged as the dominate force. The two met up in Grand Slam Finals a few times as the 1-2 seeds and, inexplicably, Serena's performance was flat and Venus won. All the while, their father, Richard Williams, was on site to observe the family competition play out. This kinda feels like that.

Now that Hunter has a Premier Class title, no more sandbagging. If this happens again, it's the first thing that they will be remembered for.

The only thing this new thread has accomplished is providing more people to my block list. It skyrocketed yesterday and looks like there are some more late comers who are deciding to jump on the bandwagon.

I've never blocked someone on here and there are some real doozies we all know of. But I guess if you can't handle folks not agreeing with your version of the world, and can't handle discourse to debate, then please block away.

Not the race I wanted to see nor expected to see. (Thanks very much 38). Having said that, Jett got a shit start, you think that was by design? He's been getting a lot of shit starts. Hunter without Deegans help would have led every lap in Moto 1 by the end of lap 1. If Jett had an injured ankle or not, the championship was done after the moto 1 start.

People are going to latch onto this BS forevermore, it seems.

Conspiracists do that - especially when you can go at 'the other'.

To Radio Communications :

I noticed a bloke standing besides Weege in one of his after race videos, that was introduced as some rep / worker or 'whatever' for a radio communications company. Now, maybe he was just related to the organizations coms between marshalls / flaggers etc, at IronMan, but, maybe it has to do with this push for rider / team coms?

A side note - saw Brandy Richards got 5th OA in WMX in the event, 10th OA in the series. I assume it's the BR that does Off Road / The Six Days. Doing WMX, is a great way to get  / keep your speed up, though, I'm sure she's got at least 5 ISDE Team wins, and maybe that many Outright wins. Pretty sure she won the Final Women's Moto in Italy  last year.  I'm (just a bit)  more of a Fan of Rachel Gutish - why? Well, She's a Ranga, and We Rangas stick together.

Rangas Rule, OK!

The 100th ISDT / ISDE is on in October, in Portugal - wish I could be there, it should be something special!

If Jett really planned to throw the race why not just say he tweaked the ankle in practice and not even start rather than this elaborate charade?

Discourse and debate are rather generous terms for what happens around here. Some folks are just better left unheard....

Don't bring reason to this thread at all... no one wants the truth because they all want to put on the tinfoil hats. 😉

I watched the races yesterday and it was clear he was trying to keep weight off the right foot. He was off-balance and even Stew said that. Then folks think that he merely got a tape job for the second moto... Okay. Jett got taped up but likely got a Toradol shot, which many professional athletes take for pain management when in a game, etc. It acts systemically across the whole body to dull aches, reduce overall swelling, and mask pain.

Did anyone catch Jett’s interview on Weege post race YouTube show? Yikes, that was a hard watch. It’s like talking to my 17 year old who knows she did something wrong

I’ve blocked one person, and that single action has made my time here much better. It wasn’t about discourse or debate, it was just blatant trolling with nowhere near enough value added

I generally agree with no blocking though

It makes perfect sense you have the orange clown as president when people think Jett laid up. Jesus fucking Christ.

He went away from the special footpeg because he needed everything to beat Hunter, and specially on that kind of track.

Hey Gravel, when you block someone, does that mean they can't reply to your post or comment on a post that you made?

I'm in the dark here...thanks.
