His inability to be genuine, see below

Manufacturing rivalries

Being the biggest shit talker and saying all glory to god

Wearing a USA Flag and refusing to do the des nations

I’m fine with trash talk, I think our sport needs it.  But I want it to be genuine, not for clicks

I bet Stew and Reedy at least led laps though.

Stews first big bike season was much worse than Deegan's. He won in SX, but not outdoors. He got hurt in both SX and MX. I don't think Reed lead many laps outdoors while RC won every moto but 3.

I think Deegan had a good season, I never thought he would beat Jett and I'm surprised Hunter did.

Besides the obvious?

Obvious included just the number 1 thing. As if you were explaining to somebody’s who doesn’t watch moto

In all seriousness, is there a world we live in where he may never get a moto win? With Hunter and Jett in the form they are in, Prado figuring it out and Sasha coming next year, sexton coming back, add in loosing Duffe, will next it begin to get even harder?

..and Davies. He has one chance in the '27 SX season to get a win. Probably follow his dad into the circus after that.

This.....!

So... he gonna have to beat prado, Lucas, jett, hunta, and sexton next season... then 2 yrs from now throw in Davies (who may turn out fastest of the entire bunch) and possibly sasha... I said long ago that he may never win a 450 race and got the mandated 30 downvotes...lolll... but I wasn't kidding... also said expect him to exit tp199 style when he figures out he has zero chance of being the man on a 450...

freestyle is in the chitter rn, it could use his type of "enthusiasm" and he could really turn that around, virtually all by himself...

The trash talk that never gets backed up, the multiple personalities and the dirty ass riding history are my top 3.

If you take away those 3 things, he’s not so bad, lol. I actually like watching him ride, his aggression, coupled with his ability to stay on the bike, is really impressive.

Oh yeah, the shallow patriotism and shallow Christianity doesn’t help..

Say what you want but that was an epic rookie season. To go reverse perfect season your rookie year is rarefied air. Not many greats have done it. Ken roczen couldnt do it he had 5 overalls and 8 moto wins his rookie year in 2014. Tomac couldnt do it, in 2014 he had 1 overall win. Chase sexton couldnt in 2020, he had 1 overall. Jett lawrence obviously couldnt in 2023, he had 11 wins for 22 overalls so he lost every moto of his reverse perfect season. Hunter lawrence couldnt, in 2024 he had 3 moto wins. Not even the great Ricky carmichael could do it, in 2000 he had 9 overalls. The only two that could do it were Chad reed in 2003 with 0 overalls and James stewart in 2005 with 0 overalls. So suck on that its Deegan, JS7, and Chad Reed on mount rushmore!!!!

To all the diaperboy haters, suck it! Reverse Perfect Season rookie year haterzzz!!!!!

To be honest I love trash talk, but only if guys/girls can back it up! We all remember Mike Tyson, Mohammed Ali... Talking big words and backing it all up in the ring. Haiden Deegan feels so fabricated or better is fabricated. He says what he thinks his dad wants him to say and that is just cring.

His last 250 season he wasn't talking about his competition in the class anymore, no he was already talking about Jett Lawrence because he would become Jett' nemesis. At the start of this outdoor season he pushes even further with a classless shirt with stuff on it like "R.I.P. Jett", "Beware of Dog Pound", "How to lose the Girl", "I love Dylan Conrique"... Personally this is far beyond trash talking, but if he wants to try to mentally destabilize his competitor like that... OK it is tacky, cheap and pathetic. But also when you do something like that, please be sure you're in the same league as that guy and that you can back all that stuff up. He was walking around like we would get weekly fights between him and Jett decided with less than 5 seconds. That mental warfare was needed to turn around the ship and make him win. But he's a rookie that finishes 30 seconds back. Now he looks like his good pal Jake Paul, talking trash to Anthony Joshua... Also trough the season Haiden stepped down a bit from talking trash, but from the moment he did well in Budds Creek last weekend he started again, it was painful to see because it got immediately shut down by the answer "How many points are you behind again?".

Secondly I see him and his dad play the "USA, USA, USA" card every time he finishes on the podium. His dad starts the chants and every possibility he gets to waive the Stars and Stripes, he's there for it. But representing his country at the MXoN seems impossible for him, while many others have done it before him! While many of those others weren't born in a rich family. He didn't had to sacrifice anything (financially) to become the rider he became, he had always the best bikes (sometimes even illegally good) but that little sacrifice to go to the nations and race there to represent your country and make your American fans proud is seemingly too much to asked. It feels that for the Deegan family the Star-Spangled Banner is mostly a promotion tool.

The third reason is that in the 250 class, every time anyone came close to his throne he showed himself as a classless, cheap and dirty rider. How he raced his teammates Max Anstie (while knowingly being faster) and Cole Davies multiple times is something I've never seen in this sport. Not from Justin Barcia and neither from Josh Hansen.

TBH isn’t that expected of Prado with his MXGP experience? Not saying I’m not happy for him, I am, but he should be getting overalls.

What’s his reasoning for him disliking both brothers before the season even started?

What's funny is I rarely see Deegan fans on here acting like the anti Deegan crowd. It's become absolutely bonkers on this forum. It's miserable to even be a part of.

You're either against Deegan or the Deegan haters will call you Brian.

It's the weirdest circle jerk I've ever seen.

Imagine showing up like this, talking about what if I beat Jett, then being 38 seconds each moto and three motos down in the championship, talking about a learning year.

I'd rather get a hard earned 3rd through hard work, learning, and riding my ass off, than a championship handed to me by my little brother.

What happened to 1-1 since the opener though? Kid was overhyped because the Star 250 is a cheater-bike, just ask Christian Craig. YZ450 isn't on the same level, because 450 ain't all about motor like the class that Haiden was dominating.

Why do you think Deegan was so salty at Prado after he signed his new deal? He knows the Honda and KTM are the best bikes in the class now, and he's pissed that he won't win jack on a YZ450. Shouldn't have talked so much shit about the Lawrence's and Prado then, because now he needs to ride a losing bike for like 2-3 years before he can ride for the premier 450 teams.

Wow so clever pop…. I’m sure all the other cool kids on vital wish they came up with this genius analysis. I wish I could have seen some of y’all tantrums when hunter went down after HD. Lucky 4 Haiden Jett threw that moto to hand big bro the W, you weirdos would have been creeping around his house.
