What we’ve been hearing about Marchbanks going…that means Team Kawasaki is “in” for MXON?

Where’s ML? He’ll know!

Marchbanks & Kitchen. After two years of riders quitting, Kawasaki needs some positive press so theyre getting behind it?

Just a guess.

Kawasaki has the current World Champion racing with home court advantage; do they really need to send US racers too?

They might have some budget free since they haven't had to pay Sexton's entry fees.

I'm an Aussie, so I'm not phased either way who USA fields. But why wouldn't Tomac be the number one choice right now? He seems like he's always willing and ready to go, likewise Webb, and always performs well on that stage

Pussies.  Biggest race of the year.... Yamaha pulling out?   Their whole year should be focused on this event, everything else secondary.  Deegan will race everything possible, but will skip this event, as he knows the Euros will squash him.   Likewise, those fellow Aussies not attending?   Weak.

Has anyone seen/heard if this affects Davies' potential participation in MXoN?

I've hated Star Yamaha ever since Deegan cheated at Loretta's in 2022.   They've done nothing since then to make up for their appalling behavior during the Brennon Schofield incident.  Frankly, I don't care how fast Deegan is, I don't want him representing the US under any circumstances.  I'd love to see Marchbanks and Kitchen at the MXON.  Real racers and good people.

I'm not sure about Davies but I know Minear isn't going for Australia because Star is charging 25K to take one of their bikes.

I don’t think NZ was sending a team this year regardless but if Star was going to be consistent it certainly would take Cole off the table for them for sure.

Performance wise Deegan is the #1 450 American rider right now.

Tomac’s moto results since returning from injury are 14-14-7-14-4-11.  I guess they’ll see how he goes at Ironman but Marchbanks is clearly better at the moment.

Hint: Yamaha isn’t “Out”, Deegandashian just refuses to go. It’s that simple.

I think it would help Kitchen to get on a 450.

Been saying this all year. He seems like the kind of guy who will use the extra power to his advantage. He doesn't look comfortable being a larger guy and having to wring out that underpowered Kawi. He seems like a technical rider who would do well riding in the lower rpms the 450 allows you ride in.

My thoughts exactly.

I can see Team USA forfait completely for Assen 2027.

NZ bowed out last year but supposedly (as of Sept. 2025) were/are planning to return with a team for 2026.

But considering funds were an issue before, if that $25k rental fee is real... well it would be a bummer. Would love to see what Cole can do on the world stage. He, Brodie Connolly and... (forgive my ignorance of other top NZ riders)?

Also... so Star has no problem sending Deegan to two overseas WSX rounds, but won't do MXoN? Stinky. It all smells very stinky.

What makes it the biggest race of the year?

Kawasaki wants to have Kitchen ride the Open class on the 327 2 stroke.

Was Kawasaki’s boycott more due to KTM/Decoster than the race itself? Also curious what changed.

Kawasaki, the 450 team is out too. It was never due to DeCoster he was just the scapegoat. Luckily Mitch has some balls.

Why would you say that? We sent a team to Assen in 2019.

Could be wrong, but I don't think RD is involved any more. I think the KTM/RD animosity is, or has been a thing though...

WSX pays the fee to Star and also pays the riders to show....the only thing stinky is Infront....

Deegandashian is apparently paying the rental fee himself to attend Euro SX races….

Just a feeling.

Anderson, Cooper and Osborne came to Europe early to prepare in the deep sand (to no avail as it turned out in the end). I can't see any American doing this, especially Deegan. Also because of the SMX-races, who didn't exist yet in 2019.

If Deegan ever races the MXoN, I suppose it's in 2028 at earliest as it's back in the States that year.

Don't forget USA didn't sent a team to Lierop in 2004 as they didn't feel competitive enough on one of the most brutal tracks of the planet and were afraid to lose. Which they definitely would have. And that was the time when RC and Stew were dominating. The US-riders of today don't have that level anymore.

Wrong.....WSX pays it, it's part of his deal with WSX...
