I understand outing your feelings like this when no American rider has won a single race in the premier class. I would be frustrated too.

Not for nothing, but last I checked neither has a Euro.🤷‍♂️

Lol. That's why this spoiled little punk is too arrogant to know that he's a punk.

Could he calculate an amortization schedule at my office for a 15-year mortgage? No, he would just sit there and watch.

And he only represents himself and his sponsors on the podium. This race is his one chance to ACTUALLY represent the USA and he ducks it every year, first because he didn't want to embarrass himself on a 250, and now because he'll only go if he gets paid. #privatejet

Making a big pay day for someone that doesn't give a sh.. about me (and vice versa) while I take all the risks, put some effort, and put quite some big coins to be there, sorry but that is the right call to opt out. Win win or get lost, that is normal if you consider it as a job. If he goes, good for the team but some big changes must happen soon if we don't want to lose the spirit of this event (especially with smx that is a direct competitor, that needs some prep, and that pays correctly).

It all started with Tiger Woods, reporters wanted access and He would cut you off if you asked a tough question.  LeBron too, and there are plenty of other examples.  Journalists now want to be buddy-buddy and won't ask any high-profile star a tough question. If you are cut off, no clicks and likes! Journalism is dead.

Kid continues to be the biggest tool in all of motorsports.
We went from RIP Jett to “I represent USA on the podium every weekend.”

He’s on a private plane every weekend but won’t go to Mxdn unless he gets paid. He knows he’ll get spanked just like he got spanked by hammakers mom a couple years ago. No honor.

Google says the attendance was 130,000 people last yr. Let's say it was 70% of that amount (91,000). Google says the 1 day ticket price was $145 for an adult and $70 or kids. Let's say it was 2/3 adults and 1/3 kids. That comes to $10,942,750.00. I realize that is income, not profit. However, if their estimates are correct for numbers they would have brought even more money in. There were 114 primary bikes used at the MXoN, so let's say there were 150 bikes shipped to the USA at a cost of $4,000 per bike. The total cost to ship those 150 bikes to the usa and back home would be roughly $1.2 million. There's still 9.7 million dollars of revenue left over not including the revenue from viewers online, additional income for vip passes, etc.

I still stand behind my comment. The event should help offset costs for teams and riders and then, assuming there is a profit, which I would imagine there would be, the rider's would get 10-20%. That is how I would run the event. If it is not profitable to do this then they should stop doing the event or do it every 4 yrs to lower the cost to teams.

But what about the $50k for Star?  If they get 50 so does everybody surely

I expect him to want to go and prove himself to the rest of the world. I would be happy to see him on the team. But I don’t think he should be treated any differently from any other US rider going.

Fuck yes, why the fuck does the Loungo family get to pocket every dollar while charging the teams and riders to be there?

He's an embarrasment to American moto...and to the USA in general. He and his shithead dad are cretins.

Even though I think scido was just trolling with his comment…..your number should be American riders won 12 of 17 SX events.  Kenny is a U.S. citizen!!  People can scoff at this….and Germans cring….but I would rather have Kenny, who has said how he loves America, on the U.S. MXDN team then deegan, who has never put his money where his mouth is on representing this country.

btw….I love Europe and the many years I lived there.

He said "American born riders" which Kenny is not.

I’m starting to think they’re more worried about getting blacklisted by Monster, rather than the family Deegan…

This was not the conventional line of thinking when we were begging Tomac and Kawi to go for years…

Just watched the Budds Creek post race press conference, and sat through the Deegan interview. At least two “journalists” asked him about what he’s learned so far. But no one asked him if he’s demanding payment to race the MXoN? Why not? There’s no law that limits questions to the race just completed. I mean, they asked him to tell his favorite story about his departing mechanic, for chrissakes.

Great question!

All these softball questions are governed by MX sports and ama. If you get out of line you are blacklisted.

Time for a new organization

They need to stop holding mxdn every year. Move it to every 3 years or something that way its like the actual olympics and its more of something ppl want to go to. Having it every year has cheapened it and makes it too regular. It should be a special race that you dont get many chances to go to in your career so the top guys want to go. With usa not wanting to go very much, australia sitting out this year, deegan always refusing to go and now wont go unless he gets paid the whole thing is ridiculous. Plus theyre making a ton of money off it. Every year needs to end.

That makes sense…..but make it the same for all other outdoor mx, super cross

Every 4 yrs

Wait I was being sarcastic
