If they can’t ask questions beyond what the teams release, what would be the point of media? This sport is uniquely weird about not discussing contract talks. As far as I am concerned they should ask. Nobody is being forced to answer. AP could have simply said something to the effect of no comment, and that would have been fine too. The really weird part is some of the moto media does seem to know things like where Chase and Eli are going and plays along saying these questions shouldn’t be asked. I'm surprised no one has really called out that homey there isn't a "real" bodyguard or EP guy. Basically a giant joke looking like that, all for security theater and some kind of statement. He caught a rock in the goggles and had to toss them early in moto one. Then a few laps later crashed and got hurt. Unfortunately a lot of sad little people have taken the opportunity to pile on. What really bothers me is that Haiden always seems to find a way to punch down. I kind of feel like he’s just a bully. Which if that’s the case, ok I guess. But that was a bitch move, and he handled it super poorly and got outclassed by a 17 year old on live TV.

Davies is pretty much the anti-Deegan. Likeable, humble and took that on the chin better than any teen I know. If you can’t root for that kid, you can suck it.

The only thing worse than a sore loser, is a poor winner. I'd rather be Davies, he showed maturity and class, something Deegan knows nothing about. The troll-souls out there just can't stop jerking it to everything he does.
