Do this; before you post a Vital thread, picture yourself in public in an autograph line surrounded by moto junkies for example. Imagine saying out loud to the crowd around you whatever you are about to say on Vital. If you think "no, I will look like an idiot if I say that out loud!" for what you would say in public - you do look like that here. I know you feel secure with internet anonymity, but it is lame (and getting old), no matter what.

I couldn’t agree more. Those Honda’s are dialed and the Brothers and Team get credit for the work put in testing. Is the Honda a better bike than the Yamaha out of the box? Probably not , but theres no denying that the Brothers have a few years head start on DangerBoy when it comes to testing on the 450 and it shows. At any rate, I’m not surprised that Danger hasn’t won a moto and has been getting gapped. The Brothers are flying. The thing I’m surprised about more than anything this season, is how Hunter stepped up his game and closed the gap on Jett.
This is what's fun about vital.... we watched the same race and I totally disagree. I see him as getting better, slowly, as the season goes on, but he can't get a start to save his life. He went last to 4th moto one, and looks great doing it... rode well second moto too. How long was he behind barcia for... who can be a pain in the ass to get by if he wants to be.
He'd be beating the 250 guys by 30+ every moto and wrapping up said title 3 rounds early. That mix of kids-vets are way too inconsistent.
Deegan's approach to his career has been well guided by his parents. Slowly build, example let this 450 season play itself out, learn a lot from 2 of the best to ever do it. Him being there every single week, finishing on the podium is a hell of a rookie season!

This narrative now that Deegan is on an inferior bike is silly. Him and the Lawrences are top level riders on two of the best teams in the sport. Deegan's bike looked like it was working very well when he was coming through the pack in moto 1. He's just has a step to take to win a moto straight up. He's not that far off.
Can’t get a start to save his life? He was 2nd on start at red bud and had 2 top 3 starts at the wick….same results dude
He’ll close up the 15 ish seconds he’s behind when he stops over revving the shit out of his bike. Until he masters that he’ll be a 3rd/4th place guy.
I was mostly speaking to yesterday regarding the starts. His riding was on point.
He’s got a couple good starts at southwick and a top 5 yesterday.
He had top 5 start and Jett had it to a 23 seconds until gap and when he fell Hunter had it at 19 seconds lol. But ok!
Someone has said that?! I haven't seen it but I'm also not on here a lot. If so, that's completely retarded to think the Yamaha is inferior. The bikes are so close nowadays that it comes down to settings as evidenced by Tomac yesterday. When guys are comfortable it shows because of how they ride the bike.
Deegan's bike is fine, I do think he is learning to ride it though. Sometimes it seems he is wringing the thing out! It sounds like he's choking a cat!
I also agree with you that he's not that far off. No one is pointing out that he is consistently making Prado, a former world champion, look very pedestrian.
Deegan is for real and will contend in the future, but Jett is generational. To expect the next guy up to be a Jett, RC or Stew is to have unreasonable expectations.

If Hayden wasn’t racing it be pretty dam boring racing. Those brothers are just so good and there starts are there every race where Hayden’s are not.
