FASST are a great company to deal with. Even from Australia!

I’ve got them on my MTB. Wrist pain was almost stopping me riding. Now I’m recovering from double wrist surgery to try and remedy the pain.

I’m not terribly sensitive to these types of things but the bars aren’t “game changers” for me, or my issue.

But no downside. Rigid in the steering plane. Almost certainly take some of the sting out of slap down hits.

Might be one of those things that I’ll notice more if I take them off.

Might not have the current issues if I’d been using something like these or the options above for the last 40years…..

Just put the Nexus mounts on the kids 85. Very nice. Would like even softer elastomers. about 26% lighter than a standard mako.

I absolutely love my Flexx bars. I have had the same set for years, they can be rebuilt and are made in America.

I’d like to see more of this 85…

Like many others I first got a set of flexx bars after breaking my wrist. Now my wrist is fine and I can ride without them but I continue to put them on every bike because of how easy they are to rebuild.

Bending bars gets expensive but the only thing that bends on the flexx bars is one long M8 bolt per side. If you have access to a mill you can even make your own and rebuild your bars after a hard fall for like $1.20.

I used to use them, now I run twisted engineering carbon fiber bars, they flex in all directions. Lighter, more comfortable.

Hadn't heard of these and just went to their site to check them out..... The bars might work well, but that might be the worst website design I have seen since like 2004. Black text on a fading black background? I literally had to highlight the text so I could read it.

Anyone that has used flexx bars and also the Mako, are they comparable in any way?

It wont let me edit the post - how do the flexx bars and the Mako compare to PHDS mounts?

I think the flexx are the most noticeable and transfer from bike to bike the easiest.

Really, the only way to know if you will like them is to try them yourself. If you don't, you can sell them.

You can also check out XC Gear. I have both and prefer the mako 360 over the flexx.

You just print money in your garage, don't you.

I use them together. Along with a Scotts sub mount. Rather twisted engineering carbon fiber bars now, but I did use flexx bars previously. They seem to me to work for different things. The Mako360 are great for small chop and machine harshness, vibrations. Flexx bars take the edge off hard hits, wrist and shoulder stingers.

Stew Baylor actually run flexx bars with a Mako360? No reason you can’t double up

I have been dealing with wrist pain off and on for a year or so now,  just picked up fishing again so making things that much worse.  I just got Flexx bars and got out for a long nasty ride this past weekend.  I can't say I really noticed them flexing while riding, but after 50 miles of nasty PNW single track I can say my wrist did not hurt after the ride, nor the next day.  Will continue to evaluate but so far so good for me.

Oh yeah, made me giggle. And I get it, quick math shows it is some coin. But I have been very fortunate and now is the time to enjoy it.

Much lighter, lower profile, better steering precision, and less expensive than the Mako, Flexx bars, Urmosi, etc. They include all three bushings for tuning (you don’t have to buy them separate as you do with the competing products). Well proven in racing with multiple GNCC wins, Hard Enduro podiums, and points scored in both Pro Motocross classes, plus we’ve gotten tons of positive feedback from customers. Available to fit our triple clamps and most all stock triple clamps.

Need a vital feedback tester? Ill run them at the ranch and report back here after. Average Joe real world report!

I originally bought them for my cr250 to cut down vibration and they worked great for that. I ended up putting them on my TX300 which doesn’t vibrate but they are still great. I’ve had wrist issues for years and they allow me to ride longer and cut down on arm pump. You can also hollow out the bar pad for storage if you need it. I use my hollowed out pad off-road with tools and a solid one on the moto track. I’m able to carry enough tools to do most trail side repairs except tire problems. Here is the set up

I love my Mako 360 bar mounts!
I did order three sets with a flat plate on the top for mounting my navigation equipment; one for each of my Huskys.
