Anyone know what's going on with the SMX jerseys site?  Ordered a signed Brayton jersey from them months ago and have been reaching out to them over their contact form, social media, and even an old email thread I had with them.  No responses.  This has been going on for a couple of months and I now see their website isn't currently accessible.

So wild they would just abandon all customer service and ignore all these people.  Was hoping someone on here had some insider knowledge about if my jersey would come or if I should make a report to my credit card company to attempt to get my money back.  Not sure how far back they'll go since the order was in February.  🤦‍♂️

If SMX is stiffing people en masse on 2026 merch, I have one (two part) question? Is the 2027 schedule out, and if not, when it is usually released

I wanted to jump in here because I know a lot of you are frustrated, and I don't blame you.

The biggest thing we've dropped the ball on hasn't been making the jerseys—it's been communication. We can do a much better job keeping everyone updated, and that's something we're already working on.

For anyone waiting on a signed jersey, those aren't sitting on a shelf ready to ship. Every jersey has to be produced, sent to the rider to be hand signed, and then sent back to us before it goes out the door. We do list up to an 8-week turnaround because of that process, but in some cases it's taken longer than it should have, and I completely understand why that's frustrating.

As for the quality comments, everyone's entitled to their opinion, but I do want to clear up one thing. These aren't budget replica jerseys. They're built on the same race-quality chassis that many of the riders are actually wearing on the gate every weekend. We're proud of the product, even if we've fallen short on getting some orders out as quickly as we should.

At the end of the day, nobody here is trying to avoid shipping orders or ignore customers. We're a small team trying to create something unique for the sport, and when one part of the process gets held up, it affects everything behind it. That's not an excuse—it's just the reality, and it's on us to do a better job communicating it.

To everyone who's been patient with us, thank you. And to those who are upset, I get it. We're going to keep pushing to get every outstanding order delivered and improve this process moving forward.

For inquiries, please email me directly - michael@smxjerseys.com

We will clean this up and it will get handled. I am sorry on behalf of our entire team for the frustration and look forward to getting this resolved within the coming weeks.

Thanks for the update.  I just saw the site was down and wasn't getting responses so wanted to make sure you guys didn't close shop.  Have had good experiences with the past couple orders from you guys 👍

I recently had a positive experience when ordering from SMX Jerseys. As a retired Coastie I ordered the Mookie jersey from the Military Appreciati0on race.  I think FXR did a nice job on the jersey to include the trademark USCG racing stripes on the sides.  I did get it autographed so it took a few extra weeks.  I was sent an email throughout the process.  Best of luck with your order(s).  Here is my timeline from the emails I recieved:

5/13/26 Ordered
6/19/26 Shipped
6/24/26 Delivered

Usually 90 days  but some CC companies it is up to 120 days on fraud.

"At the end of the day, nobody here is trying to avoid shipping orders or ignore customers"

But yet there are people here waiting since February for an order and have been ignored for countless messages and dm's....so just because you weren't "trying" to, that's ok? Kind of unacceptable.

Maybe if I don't pay my taxes this year I can just tell the government "I wasn't trying to not give you the money" and they should be ok with it?

First of all you should be over communicating the situation to paying customers.  Next, you should be working 20 hours minimum per day to make it right and get caught up.  Business ownership 101

The biggest bottleneck has been getting jerseys signed by the riders in the middle of the season. We originally had signed jerseys listed at a 4 week turnaround, but after seeing how difficult the process actually was, we changed that to 8 weeks. Unfortunately, even 8 weeks hasn't been enough in some cases.

Trying to bridge the gap between pro riders and fans has proven to be a lot more difficult than we ever expected. Injuries, race schedules, training, travel, and a lot of other variables have made it really hard to give customers exact dates on when signed jerseys will be completed.

I'm not saying that as an excuse. We know our communication hasn't been where it needed to be, and that's on us. We should have done a much better job keeping everyone updated throughout the process.

Behind the scenes, we've been working as hard as we can to get jerseys into riders' hands at different races and locations, and in many cases we've had to produce second batches just so we could get jerseys to different riders faster. We're doing everything we can to keep things moving, and every single order in the queue will be fulfilled.

That's also why we've paused the website for now. We'd rather put 100% of our focus into getting caught up on the backlog and taking care of the customers who have already supported us before accepting any new orders.

Seems like it would be easier to get rider autographs in the middle of the season? They all travel to the same races each weekend.
Otherwise you'd be shipping a package to each rider and harassaing them on the phone until they ship it back.

Not that I have a horse in the race, but what's to stop someone from simply going through the autograph line on the weekend with the jersey that needs signed? Obviously that gets complicated if the rider isn't currently racing, but it seems like it should be 2 weeks tops to get the autograph.

Sounds like if they have not been able to get the stuff signed, they should have plenty of time to communicate with the customers cause product is not moving.

I often wonder how privileged these people must be where finding time to ship out 10 jerseys is overwhelming and somehow end up in over their head because of it.

Sounds like the OP got his answer on tonights Pulpmx show when he called in? Or somebody else called in with the same question.

Brayton texted Steve and said he just got a bunch of jerseys sent to him to sign. So maybe the op will get his in 2-3 weeks.

Haha not me, but I actually heard it live.  Glad to get more updates 👍

I wonder how much of it is just jerseys sitting at riders houses and not getting signed. What could be a quick open the package, sign the items, repack and ship back in the same day of receiving them could easily turn into a box shoved in the corner of their house for weeks/months and stuff getting lost/misplaced.

Why would a rider want to sign any of this stuff arriving at his house anyway?   What's in it for him to be signing fake jerseys?
