I don’t know man.  I still think the dude beat his wife and I don’t like guys who beat their wives.

I don’t know man. I still think the dude took accountability for his actions. I like people that take accountability for their actions.

“You guys who read the police report misunderstood brah and what I said was misunderstood man”

I wish I could take accountability like that at my job

grew up in an abusive household.  It’s not as easy as “if she wanted to leave she would”.  Believe it or not it’s complex and f’ed up to witness.

Since we're asking questions, neither of us can answer, what's stopping him from saying, "I never put my hands on my wife, hit her or grabbed her neck like was put in the police report"?

Probably the fact that that’s way more harder to do than it sounds.

I don’t think I’ve said this before and it could  possibly be a lot harder than my pea brain thinks but it if I was innocent of something I’d be screaming it from the top of the mountain, on the daily to clear my name.  Again though, it’s probably not that easy.

Would be pretty easy to say “I never assaulted my wife”

Which basically is saying 'My wife is a LIAR!'

Which can lead to other things.

That’s not linked to any of the allegations, I thought it may have been too, but it’s just coincidental timing.

Darren was a pro in the 90's. Don't think he rode "C".

Jason only wore 100% during SX because his Scott deal was screwed up right before A1 and didn't have a contract.  Happened to a couple of guys.

I dunno, it always surprises me when things like this happen and employers/sponsors are happy to ignore it when it works in their financial favour.

I just think if he obviously beat her up every one of his sponsors would’ve dropped him, he’s not exactly a title contender anymore so it would’ve been even easier for all of them to drop him imo

I worked with a chief that was the operations chief's aide. He said I wouldn't believe the number of women that would call the department to say their soon to be ex's were abusing the kids or them or both. Now these women weren't reporting to law enforcement, they just wanted to maybe coerce their soon to be ex's to leave the house or bump the child support if they were already divorced. He would explain that this was a serious situation and they would help her with notifications but as soon as the department did that, he would be arrested and out of work for a while and probably losing his job. It was ALWAYS crickets on the other end and he never heard from them again.

I also don’t know why he is getting a pass.  I find it fascinating human behavior, probably because he is “our champion” from “our sport”.  If he was an NFL running back we would cook him with the same details and not give him the benefit of the doubt.  His initial post wasn’t an outright denial.

Seriously,  I just find it interesting.

Your post reads like you desire and get great enjoyment from seeing men be put forth and crucified in the court of public opinion.

Rather then through the slow measure of due process.

Trust me I don’t.  It just seems like people we like get the “due process-benefit of the doubt” and people we don’t know or don’t like get crucified.

This. My ex-wife lied about me until her dumb ass learned that if I was in jail, the child support and alimony would stop coming in. Suddenly, she stopped lying. Imagine that.  She never got charged for lying to the cops, though. I guess chicks just get a break for that kind of shit. But me on the other hand, some people still think I did it. Men get fucked in civil court and in society.

I'll keep an opened mind on Jason Anderson until we learn more.

Switching gears here so try to stay with me. Ando shows up at Mammoth but there was no news about him riding an area qualifier. You do need to qualify for Mammoth right or do the pros just get to show up and race?

I don’t know for sure, but I kinda doubt the likes of Anderson and RV were forced to race a qualifying event.

No qualifier for the PRO classes

You do not have to race any qualifiers to go to Mammoth. The qualifiers only guarantee a spot but there’s a specific day online entries open and it’s first come first served if the class isn’t fully.

I don’t know the cap for classes but I signed my son up in the 65 classes a few years back after skipping qualifiers with a fractured wrist. There were already 70+ riders in the “I qualified” list and we got in both classes.

JFC, we're back to piling on Jason?  Get over it....

Here, pile on me.  1982 125 pro final, I'm the second bike in black helmet partially hidden.  My dad (RIP) standing behind me.  Roger Hensley checking out the far inside gate.

Heading out for the morning warm up.
