If you listen to some of the post race shows from people who were at the race it appears there’s enough evidence that they were having engine problems.
And Marchbanks refused to answer what his problem was at the second moto when he pointed at something on the bike to his mechanic. Literally said "skip question" to Lewis. Sus af

They ignore this is Sexton's 3rd manufacturer with thse problems. HRC Honda, Red Bull KTM, and now Monster Kawaski....The Lawrence's immediately proved it wasn't the Honda. Eli, Prado, and now Coenen's have proven it wasn't the KTM. Marchbanks just had a career day on the Kawi factory 450. Febrve just won a MXGP title with a works version.
Hint: Sexton always blames the bike. Publicly throwing them under the bus. Who will sign him now?
Valentin Guillod was a top ten last year being a privateer. Of course you can be a top 10 riding the kawi, the point is what happens when you tryna go fast and ride at top 3 level, is it reliable?
So then it's 100% on chase if true. Why would anyone keep riding the bike and not immediately pull in? Or at least roll the jumps? It's press day. Not the middle of a race battling for a championship.
Things just don't add up...

At any rate, he was right there in the running. Hunter cut the track and was penalized. But if you disregard Coenen, who was showing for a one-off, Garrett was third fastest AMA rider in the race regardless of any penalties.
Idk man. I guessed he was either just fed up with the bike and decided to keep running it how it was or he was trying to get more data for the tuners to be able to track where the bike was having issues and adjust for saturday. Just my 2 cents.
Marchbanks ain't saying nothin' that might cost him a ride.

they got something slightly wrong for the elevation. maybe Twisted didn't help them with the tune this weekend?
Another way to look at it. If the team manager gave a sh// about the welfare of his riders, why would he tell them to go out there and send it.
Listen to the end of hoppers interview with him, he did’nt really seem to care, about how Chase was doing after the crash, even saying he was being moody.
This might be a weird question, but does Chase's grandpa come to the races? I saw this older dude in team Kawasaki gear and credentials at the race in Colorado that looked almost exactly like Chase. Maybe it was just a staff member of Kawasaki, I have no idea, but he looked like an older version of Chase. I guess it would be strange for Chase's grandpa to stay for the race after he went home, so I'm probably wrong.
