So we had some friends over to enjoy the day and watch the race… got off the boat a little late and decided to bbq and play yard games until the race was over so we could watch it in full because the live broadcast wouldn’t let us start from the beginning.

It’s 10 pm.  We ended up watching the post race interviews on YouTube and everyone left.  Replay still isn’t available.  You guys are doing a great job.

We open the app and alll we see is  interviews with “Jett’s hangtown win”.  Y’all are a special kind of special.

Peacock doesn’t allow you to rewind and watch from the start?
At least the international stream does that, although we pay an extortionate price for it.

Yep. 1140 pm. Still not available on the app.  I’ll watch the highlights/ race on YouTube so I am up to speed for the weeks podcasts.

Na we’re Very chill….they're just a day late and dollar short. Not a good look when they post highlights before the race is posted. It’s 2026.  They will figure it out or get left in the dust.

We got home an hour and a half after it started and were able to rewind to the beginning, as well as fast forward.  I've watched a few that way. As long as you tune in before the broadcast is over, you can hit pause, then go back and start from the beginning. Once it's over you have to wait. That's how we watched the daytime supercross rounds. But you're right, that worked "most" of the time, not all

This is what I do most of the time, too. Works 99% of the time.

You can only go back about 2 hours.

These west coast rounds are in middle of the 2nd 250 moto when I wake up. I cannot rewind to the beginning for the first 250 moto.

I either gotta get up at like 4am or wait til 9am for the replay.

Even when the races are over at the 4.5 hour mark, the livestream will still be up and the timeline will go on until 5.5 or 6 hours.

Then it’s pulled down and the replay shows up maybe an hour after that.

Replay wasn’t put up until 11am Japan time, so my choices were either avoid all things internet so I wouldn’t get spoilers, or spend my entire Sunday afternoon on the couch.
I preferred the old NBCSports app where they posted the moto as soon as it was done, so I was able to watch the first motos while the second motos were running live.

I came in after 450 moto 2 where James was explaining the points spread , and was able to rewind to 250 moto2 with 18min on the clock.  That is the standard scenario that I have done many times.

Most of the time if I then try to navigate to the 450 moto2 start it will hang and I will have to exit Peacock and start all over.  Peacock is not the worst Firecube app (Paramount+ is by far the worst) but it is second worst.

Watching on a Tivo OTA DVR is the best (if the full race is ever on the OTA channel) and DirecTV DVR (on a cable channel) is second best.

I luckily found that someone put the motos on YouTube not long after the completion of each moto. Only one or two commercials as well.

I’m sure they were taken down, but they sure made it better for me.

oh wow, yeah that's shitty. I watched live broadcast and was only perturbed by the incessant drug commercial. I get it advertisers pay to make it happen. however that was bordering on spam. fucksakes

I was happy to see Lala Turner (#1). not sure if this has anything to do with peacock, but more Lala please.

It works on some devices and not other in my experience. But this is how I usually do it as well using a Roku.

Yeah ridiculous you can’t rewind it after it starts on ALL platforms and the replay isn’t a available within 1/2 hour of it finishing

I used to have this problem too but the even stupider thing is its only like this on certain devices. I noticed I could rewind no matter what from my parents apple tv, so I used some credit card points to get one. Apple tv has no problems at all, if you stream it on your phone you can rewind as well, but if you then cast it to your tv from your phone with a chromecast then you all of a sudden cant rewind anymore. Its sooo fucking stupid. Roku doesnt have rewind either.

For now youre only option is to find a cheap apple tv if you really want the rewind option. For me its ideal because in sx I wait a half hour to start watching so I can fast fwd commercials (even though they still try to force you to watch them, but if you ffwd before the commercial starts you can).

Isnt it bullshit that we have alllll this new tech now in 2026 and instead of making the viewing experience waaay better instead they just use the tech to force you to watch as many ads as possible. Back in the dvr days they couldnt force you to watch any commercials. Now they do. Its bullshit.

Indeed.  On our Samsung tv we can typically rewind within a two/ 1.5 hr window.  Other tvs using the same setup have zero rewind capabilities. Either way.  The upload time after the event concludes is unacceptable

Fire TV here.  No rewind if I start watching in the middle of the broadcast.  I will wait until its over for about 15 minutes, unplug the Fire stick, and it will load the replay.

It seems to be inconsistent too, at least on the phone app it’s sometimes about a 2 hour wait which isn’t bad, but sometimes it’s a 6 to 7 hour wait and those make me wilt. Thank goodness for Dailymotion in times of desperate situations

To add to this, the post-race show which is an hour or whatever, adds an hour of waiting for anybody wanting to watch the replays.  The west coast guys get hosed now for daytime SX, and us east coast guys get screwed having to watch outdoors at 10PM if we want to watch the replay the same day.

Been a frustration for me as well.   I usually watch the Nationals in the evening.   Asking my daughter to cue it up for me in case there are spoilers in the description is silly.

Yes, the spoilers in the descriptions.  🙄

I wish the NBC/Peacock/SX/MX/SMX broadcast experience was 25% as good as the Apple TV/F1 experience.  The Peacock app is kinda bad.
