I called my local small country dealer to put a deposit . He didn’t know about the bike tell he got the first call today from someone trying put a deposit. he did take my deposit I’m the fourth one on the list for one. And that was only 3 hours after the internet release and it’s a small country dealer . He said he talked to his rep and all the dealers are getting slammed from people trying put deposit . Not sure on the final msrp price CDN and date for delivery. But he said the rep told him he will know later this week or next on the price and amount of bikes he can get . Fingers cross I can get one
Not a Kawi guy but you could bend a horse shoe on my you know what right now
I put a deposit on one today too, I went for the X.
It’ll be interesting to see how things shake out this fall.
LOL! I get it... just too many ppl questioning the 327. Hell, that was great Chevy engine.

Kawi really did the homework, bikes look rad. I can’t wait to see some footage of fast guys on them. And what they think.
KYB but not the SSS stuff I’d guess?
Guess I’m not sure. Thought their 250f was lighter. Looks like the 327 is a bit of a porker after all.
I would buy that graphics kit.
With the 327 out, next is the 450 being changed to a 454.
I’ll be surprised…and very stoked…if it’ll run a legit headlight without a “rewind”. But, it’s not likely. That Baja Designs XL80 likes plenty of juice.
I’m guessing the bike will probably run a Baja D Squadron Pro or Sport in stock config.
The SSS is just Yamaha marketing same basic fork different valving and Springs.
I knew the moment I saw the aluminum frame + TPI + counterbalancer it would be weighty. The Stark Varg is super heavy by all standards but the added weight doesn't affect handling like you'd think it might.
Heavier bikes are generally more stable in the rough stuff, too. Better for off road and desert at least.
Baby-boomer 327... Make'n me smile all day.. finally some good news.....
It's definitely heavily filtered as-the-least... Front tire make me think the whole picture is CGI
We can work with gold rims. 👍😃
It's a shame new bikes are still coming with those 20 YO black hoops. Never cared for them (make it look heavy) and really don't like the Dalmation look when they get some time on them. Stick with silver or gold.
technically, it is a 449.... Mopar fans would love this.
That thing was horrid. It makes the YZ490 seem easy to jet🙄 and the frame broke weekly. Not one of Team Green's best for sure.
Thank you! I’m sure you meant under square 😎
That explains the linear power band. Reminds me of the RM370. It also had an under square engine:
And the original Honda Open class bike, the horrible 1981 CR450R was really 431cc.
Suzuki was even stranger. The 1978 RM400 was 402cc. The 79 & 80 models were 417cc.
Pit Row
And my 520 SX was only 510.4cc
Still hacked about it. 😄
I’m still up in the air on the mx and x . All my friends ride trails now so thinking might be smarter get the x with the 18 inch rear wheel
A couple gifs to show the changes.
Kawasaki guru's were probably doing 420 while they were developing that bike. That slang wasn't out yet, but maybe they started it. 😆
Wonder where the CG of each is, because that makes it look like the engine in the new bike sits several inches higher than the old KX. 🤔
Might have to make a return to my screen name in the next year or two... kind of unfortunate i just got myself a new bike, but in reality it was perfect timing. It'll give them a year to figure out the bugs.
Here yall go
But I don't think that's the 7-speeder.
Top one is mo-bettah. 👍
I agree, the silver rims are a nice touch after 20 years of black rims on new bikes lol
I had 5k in my pocket and they didn't even ask me to sit down. Let me walk...
Guess I’ll have to take the updated plastics off my 2004 now.
