You know they have to be thinking hard about it! . All new YZ250 and YZ350 with e-start, hydro clutch and a carb!
Those Austrian bikes already have spring.
That's what I'm waiting for - someone to come out with a carb replacement kit for the 327X! 😄

No worries - half the time I'm wondering WTH I'm talking about, too! 😄
Is the quoted kx327 weight with or without fuel? Ktm is without and I thought the Japanese usually quoted with fuel.
Excellent suspension
No doubt, all the original FFs have that claim to fame. 👍
Let there be no doubt, this is a “Vet Weapon Bike”!
I will bet a dollar to a doughnut that Kawasaki had us gray hairs in mind.
Normally they’re showing dry weight, not curb weight. Add another 20 pounds for fuel and oil.
233.7 is probably the dry weight. E-start and efi system most likely added 10-11lbs
That’s a PIG! How on Earth do you make a two stroke weigh 235 pounds dry?
Kickstand, off-road equipment, EFI, e-start and battery, for starters.
That’s without fuel. Japanese companies always list weight with a full tank and KTM doesn’t. Add 12-14lbs to the Husky.
I wish the x had a headlight and taillight.
Why on God’s Green Earth does a two stroke need a battery and electric start? Kickstand? Must be that “off road” version.
Who will be th3 first guy to do a 97 Emig tribute ?
It’s gonna take some fancy footwork to get some weight off - pipe silencer, lighter axles swingarm pivot footpegs, lighter battery, lighter tires.
For reference the (claimed) dry weight of the Beta RX350 is 220.5lbs
Pit Row
It says 233.7, and says in the writeup that is is similar to a 250 MX bike, which the KX 250F is 230.9 without fuel (240.8 with fuel). That 233 no fuel (my assumption) makes it 8 pounds heavier than a no fuel KTM 350 SXF. That's the only disappointing thing I've seen about it so far.
Edit: it will still feel lighter than a 4T.
Ktm claims 224lbs dry for a 250/300xc with spring forks and similar accessories (skid plate, handguards, kickstand) to the kawi.
Are you sure about that? They list their 250f without fuel, so why would the 327 be any different?
https://www.kawasaki.com/en-us/motorcycle/kx/full-size-mx/kx-250f/2027-kx250f
The euros that I'm aware of publish dry weight. The Japanese publish curb weight (all fluids and a full tank of gas). That's why all the euro bikes look so light on paper.
It is very confusing at he moment because Kawi listed their bike with and without fuel, so the question is which one is the 233.7 listed? Hopefully it's with fuel ready to ride, and then we are competitive with the other bikes.
Sexton in the Open Class For MXoN?
For reference YZ250 wet weight (with fuel) - 227lbs
I have a 1979 Simonini 125, with a 7 speed..
*Who says it can’t be homologated by mid-summer?
*If the factory team want parts- they’ll get them or make them.
*How do you know what aftermarket parts from the ‘26 450 won’t fit directly to the ‘27 450? You don’t..
*Chase doesn’t know what he wants, but he DOES know he’s not happy. Does he stick with what he’s not happy with or continue trying new avenues?
So can Chase put these forks on his outdoor bike?🤔🫣
It has to be with fuel otherwise it weighs more than the heaviest 250f. KTM shows 227.5 lbs dry for a 250 xcf and 224 for a 300xc. Other than engine and related frame changes that go with the engine those two bikes (XC and XCF) are identical. I don't know if it is impressive that a KTM 250f engine only weighs 3.5 lbs more than a 300 2t or sad that the 300 2t is only 3.5 lbs lighter than the 250f.
Is it just me, or do the pictures of the two stroke look animated? Like on a graphics company's website where they show you a "preview" of your bike. The motor and chain in particular look oddly clean and bright. Is this just a mock up or just weird lighting?
