Just 60 minutes of bare knuckle boxing, banging gears, eating rocks, fans doing beer bongs.

Sport rules. Nfm.

Always has and always will be so much better than SX.

I find myself spending most of the SX season just hoping that everyone stays healthy for a stacked outdoors. This is as stacked as it’s been for a long time.

40 man gate drops, out in the elements, big boobs. Hell yeah, make Steel City great again.

Actually different tracks each week, each track is top tier, longer races, etc.

SX is cool because it gives us a similar type of racing during the winter but outside of that... I'm not sure how it became the most prestigious title.

And how much better it would be at Glen Helen than that shit hole in Pala.

It really is better. Wife and I are making plans to hit every national in the country spread over the next few years. I stopped going to Supercross races about 5 years ago after a pretty strong 22 year run.

I want to check all the boxes. Not hitting Pala though... I'll go to GH the first year it is back, or never, whichever comes first.

Always felt like motocross was the sport of the core fan. The people or family that ride or have ridden and raced themselves and the sport is etched into their lives. SX for me personally is just a corny show I get bored of 3/4 of the way through every season.

For me 450 AMA motocross is the superior/premier title. Dudneys podium must be the first big pay day for the kid? gotta feel good

Pala is better than it looks on TV and worth attending.

I have to admit I was pretty impressed with how big the race was. Tons of spectators (Estimated 18K), presentation, banners, look, vastness of it. Cool! I was cringing at thoughts of all those people getting out of there to go home though.😬

I really enjoy both, but outdoors is the core of the sport. 40 dudes in each class hauling ass in the heat and roost.

4x 30+2 versus 15 and 20 min of actual racing, easy choice. Though this SX season really was good, it's rare that I'm still hyped for the last SX rounds but that was only because Hunter and Kenny made it this exciting.

One thing I'll never understand though is how people prefer MX but such few people on Vital actually watch MXGP.

Like most , I'm a fan of both.  If you're a girl dad and your ladies are a bit girly, sx is easier.  Shorter day, less heat, less time.

Sx is cool because its a discipline the average or above average rider cannot do.  Puts talent and skill on full display.  Moto is grit, fitness,  heart.

Or both. More motocross rounds. Let's go. Take away a sx race.

The only reason I was so in on sx this year was because of Hunter vs Roczen. If there's not a championship battle in sx, I check out. I want to watch every mx round no matter what. Its not even close how much I prefer mx. Going to Dilla and Budds Creek this summer. LFG

Who says it's the most prestigious? Well, those who want you to think it is - TV and the manufacturers. Both want eyeballs on it since it's a "made-for-TV" product and is where the money changes hands.

Those who have grown up in the sport know that it's an artificial, dramatized version of its parent sport, packaged like a circus to sell to the masses who have never participated in it, just like all the other sports they watch.

Running track there are sprinters and distance runners…… same for SX and MX. I love watching both.

FYI - I was a sprinter and got lapped in long distance races.

Another HUGE difference between Supercross and Outdoors ….. spectators getting in and out of the tracks 😂

FYI when leaving both tracks go the opposite way off everyone else.

Unadilla go north to Bice Rd and loop over to 18  But you wont get any of the locals BBQ chicken going that way.

Budds Creek go south on 234 toward Chaptico and take Mechanicsville Rd. Its longer but a LOT faster.

Same for High Point you can go all the way over to the river and follow it down to Morgantown.

The ones that don’t sure as hell are missing out some flat our battles week after week!! Pretty sure they will be watching a little more after Thunder Valley!! Those two brothers will bring the heat!!

Have you ever had to empty roost  out of your shoes at a SX? How about at a National MX?
