In situations like that it needs to be discretion. Yea it can get dicey at times, but race director discretion needs to be the final word. In that situation pelletier says minear finishes behind kitchen because yes he went off the track but then re-entered at the next safest point. Having to turn around and go backwards to hit the transponder would be fkn ridiculous. Minear finishes 1 spot behind kitchen, next.
