That's a good fit. Although I'm a Yamaha guy, RV as a spokesperson for them didn't make a lot of sense.

No, they had that Yamaha pipe from before RV was on Yamaha. I don’t think they have a secrete Kawi pipe hidden anywhere. The Yamaha one was like a one off freak thing that was insanely good. 

This brand ambassador stuff is basically a way to make dealerships happy eh? A moral booster so to speak?

He shows up to dealerships for autograph signings, tells the same 5 stories , takes some pics with everybody that works at the dealership etc etc. 

Because I really don't care if RV is repping KX,YZ. or Hayabusa.

Reed would have been a better option for figuring out a bike setup. Didn't even need to hire RV, but still glad he's back I guess.

I don't know why they announce these things like its a big deal. Good way for Kawasaki to get some publicity and for RV to make some more cash with his legendary status but do we really care about what company is giving free bikes and a salary to be an "ambassador" 

Same with ZachO with Beta they announced it like he was coming back to race nationals or something on it, I don't blame the manufactures or the riders for signing these deals but like who cares. 

0% chance RV is doing any bike testing for the race team.

I had a 2002 Kawi KDX220R that I really liked and was basically bulletproof over the 20 years I owned it. I don't know the last year that 220 was sold, but Kawi ought to revive it with some updates and work with someone to develop a big bore 300 kit for it. Maybe aim it at the GNCC and hard Enduro crowd 1st and if it takes off, they could offer variants for other moto users that would buy Austrian, Beta, Sherco, etc.

Kinda surprised by this. RV will obviously have nothing to do with testing or the race team but he seemed over everyone kawi(besides Mitch) on the way out.

I don’t really understand these deals, but at least RV and Kawi makes sense. The Yamaha thing was just odd.
