As a mailman, I hate their owners, not the dogs. SO many people with dogs should not be allowed to have them. Zero attempt at training them and zero control when their dog acts like the animal it is. It's real rich when they yell at you for kicking their dog or spraying it with dog spray while it's trying to rip your jugular out.
I liked Hunter's dogs segment, thought it was rather funny, and I don't give a crap about Clason. The trainer's dog was way faster than him anyways.

You would have loved mine then. Highly trained, that dog was insanely well behaved and only did as told. Just say the word and it could rip a mailman's jugular out in a heartbeat.
Of course, I love dogs. I have a few on my route that are well trained and their owners let me give them treats if they're outside. It's always the lazy fucks that won't even put their wild dog on a leash and it takes off after me the moment it sees me. "He's not normally like this, I swear! He wouldn't hurt a fly!" Bro, he's currently chomping on my shins. Get a hold of your stupid fucking dog!

I actually agree, which is why I no longer want to own a dog. It's a huge commitment and once you get one you're really obligated to treat them well 24/7/365.
Some people are really delusional when it comes to owning dogs. My ex had an american pitbull terrier mix and while the dog wasn't aggressive, she had absolutely zero control over it. The dog constantly jumped up on people (not aggressive, but still not cool, specially when people have anxiety), pulled on the leash like crazy, didn't listen to anything she said most of the time. If the dog ever decides to get aggressive, there is absolutely nothing that she could do about it. I called her out on it a couple times, for her the dog was her little princess. Absolutely insane.

Dogs are awesome, so it makes me a fan. If I know another rider doesn’t have a dog he’s racing, I’ll root for him, over the other every time.

Gotta say up front that I am a Dog lover. Having said that, I cannot tolerate dog owners that are completely oblivious to the chaos and fear the dogs create when they are not well behaved or well controlled. Dogs are not equal to humans in any way, so guide them , or keep them in your yard.
