I love the logic: 'If there's evidence, it's true. If there's no evidence, it's a cover-up, so it's still potentially true.'

You've built a world where you can never be wrong because 'the system' is hiding your proof for you. That’s very convenient for winning internet arguments, but it’s a pretty poor way to find the truth. Let me know when you find a transcript that exists in reality.

Don't know if you realise but I never claimed Bondi said anything.

Also not sure what your first paragraph is about, you seem to think that the news has to report something for it to be true? Or at least something can only be used as evidence if it's reported by the news?

Also I don't think you comprehended what I said

I comprehended it fine; I’m just waiting for you to realize how thin your 'point' is. You're hiding behind the obvious fact that the news isn't 100% of reality to avoid the fact that there is zero evidence for the Bondi claim elsewhere.

If 'the news didn't report it' isn't a valid indicator for you, what is? Twitter rumors? Your gut? If you have no source, no transcript, and no news coverage, you don't have a 'point'—you have a fantasy. You're effectively saying, 'You can't prove it's false because the media is biased,' which is just a fancy way of saying you'll believe whatever you want regardless of the facts.

I don't want to keep going on about this because it's derailing the thread but for the third (3rd!) time I will reiterate that I did not claim Bondi said anything and I do not care.

I was making a point that your argument, "if such and such happened it would be all over the news" is a poor argument. That's it.

You seem so fixated on whether or not this Bondi quote is real that you're not actually comprehending what I'm saying.

LOL. Mirtl also accused of a side hustle of selling Lawrences' race gear for $15k on the sly.

I honestly think this is one of those things all people close to famous folks probably do, but it matters once it matters.

I comprehend your point perfectly; it’s just a useless one. You’re arguing that 'absence of news isn't proof of absence.' Fine. Technically true in a philosophy textbook.

But in the real world, when there is zero news, zero records, and zero evidence, a rational person dismisses the claim. You’re trying to argue that we should keep an open mind because 'news owners' might be hiding it. That’s not a 'point' about logic; it’s a 'point' about paranoia. If you’re not claiming she said it, and you have no evidence she did, then you’re just wasting everyone’s time arguing about the definition of evidence to avoid admitting the claim is fake.

The problem is all of that stuff was the subject of many motions and orders and he had no right to sell it regardless of how things usually work. He received about $30k total including the bikes. I know he desperately needs money but he's making life terribly hard on himself.

In related news his divorce case was dismissed for want of prosecution so at least he still has a wife!

I have seen that Bondi allegedly said that if they pursue the Epstein conspirator and "client" list that the system will collapse. I don't know if the quote is true or not, but I can see that outcome being a real possibility. There are already quite a few being dismissed in Europe. In general, the US population is too disconnected from reality (read that as "stupid') to care what is happening, and of course the political elite will protect their own regardless of how deep the depravity. Yes, I'm American. Calling it like I see it.

Yes the whole system needs to collapse if you don't want to be ruled by satanic, pedophile, cannibals anymore... and well,  for the average Joe to actually lead a good life where u don't have to work 60 hrs a week just to live in a chithole....

The people that don't want it to collapse would be them.... the Satan worshipping pedo cannibals...

100%. This is one of those access perks that is only a perk if'n you are eligible for it, and only until they say stop it, otherwise it is criminal.

Holy Jesus man. I don't think you get it... At this point I can guarantee you don't comprehend anything perfectly. He literally never said any of the stuff you are going off about. GTFO the thread or discuss it on your other political media forum.

Thanks.

I think we can all insinuate he knew more about it than released in his statement, most likely because he wants to try and keep it.

Has to be trophies or something rare. No way someone is paying that much for race worn gear.

Hope the marriage is at least back on track. People going down the road he's going down often take an abrupt and permanent off ramp. Hopefully there's at least some family stability that will prevent that.

Assuming he put up property to make that bond?

All of this is insane.

Insane is right. There was a hearing in November specifically regarding many of the items that were sold. It is alleged that a week or so before the hearing he delivered all of the items to this guy's house in a box, took a down payment, and left the whole box there. At the hearing the Judge specifically ordered that these items not be moved or sold and Mirtl agreed on the record that he understood. Nine days later he went back and collected the remaining $15k and sold the items. Mostly gear and helmets but some were pretty unique (MXdN, Europe, etc.). There was some of the Coenens gear involved as well.

The Lawrences are asking for a turnover of the $22k cash plus the two bikes, and that he be incarcerated until he has complied.

The bond in the criminal case is unsecured. He filed an indigency affidavit and was assigned a federal public defender. We are now paying his legal fees.

Very curious who the rich moto enthusiast is who bought all of this? Surely if they knew enough to want the stuff they also had some idea of what was going on and that they were buying stolen goods. Sketchy....

Which is part of a functioning democratic society. Do you not think providing a lawyer to a person who cannot afford it is fair? The US justice system is already pretty biased to people with money.

I never get this whole „my taxes“ thing. Do you not want also people with lesser income to have at least have some form fairness? I think I know your stance already.

He COULD afford one, if he wasn't a greedy asshole. That's the difference. Bleeding hearts enable bad behavior and have a poor understanding of unintended consequences. Socialism doesn't work when you're a mere economic zone full of grifters. I'll bet you think the afd is mean because they don't want to take your wages to pay newcomers to have children on your dime

The reason Americans say 'My Taxes' isn't necessarily because they are selfish, but because they view the government as an agent of the people, not the owner of the people.

If you believe that a person owns their own life, they must also own their own labor. When the government takes a large portion of that labor - even for a good cause - they are reducing that person's autonomy. For many Americans, a society is 'healthier' when citizens have the freedom to manage their own lives and support their communities voluntarily, rather than having the state do it by default.

"For many Americans, a society is 'healthier' when citizens have the freedom to manage their own lives and support their communities voluntarily, rather than having the state do it by default."

It feels like a pipe dream specifically because we’ve spent decades outsourcing our personal responsibilities to the state. When you say 'let the government handle it,' you’re effectively voting to keep our communities weak.

The 'my taxes' argument isn't a nostalgic wish for the 1800s; it’s a protest against the idea that we are too incompetent to look after one another without a federal mandate. If we don't fight to keep our own resources, we will never have the means to rebuild the very communities you say are missing.
