97' MC at the old Metrodome was cool. First win that year if I remember correctly.
Two of them from 2013ish....Fifth row view of K-Dub putting his balls on the bar pad for what I think was his last transfer ever at Dallas. Was also at the Metrodome that year when Dungey ran down Villo for the win. Crowd went absolutely nuts.
Watching Kevin end RC's streak at Unadilla in 02'. It seemed like they weren't more than a couple bike lengths apart for both motos.
Was at the top of the hill at Millville when Reedy got punted in 2011.
Stew's first practice session heater lap at Millville in 03' was jaw dropping. I have no idea how Kawi kept those 125s alive for entire motos.
J-Marts second moto win last summer.
James on a 125 waiving Reed by on a 250f, then passing him back and dropping him.
More recently, Jo-San’s performance in Vegas.
Magoo winning all the motos in MX and Trophy des nations no question about it, the same year he won Superbikers. In all of motorcycling....Duhamel winning Daytona when he couldn't walk, literally needing to be lifted off and on his bike. Really too many to list, Decoster winning after dying in the operating room, Tripes winning at 16 years 0 months, Roberts winning on the TZ750 dirt tracker. Just so many heroics in our sport, makes me look a jaundice eye on many of these young pro racers, sorry.
I forget the exact year, 2023?? But getting to see Dungey come out of retirement and Cairoli race over here at High Point, just amazing

Wrenching for my buddy racing 250 support class at the 1977 Carlsbad USGP, followed by seeing Hannah and Smitty battle at the 1976 Hangtown National at Plymouth.
Eli drifting the start corner every lap at SLC 2017. Coming back from like 17th to win.
Eli on the back wheel through the whoops at Daytona.
Literally down voting Roberts on a Dirt Tracker TZ 750 or Magoo winning all four motos, I have never gave a shit before because you people, some of you anyway are fucking 13 year old idiots, but what is wrong with you. Forgive me, I already know.
2006 Ricky Charmichael laps the entire field at Spring Creek Motocross National in Millville Minnesota.
When we left the race, we didn't even know who was on the podium!
You have to be a certain level of narcissist to post, come back notice down votes on that post and decide to post about said downvotes in a fit of rage.
Or hammered drunk.
Going to my first race to race my own bike.
2014. Toronto Supercross.
That GoPro video of Stewart coming from 14th to take the win is badass.
Sitting there at the Coliseum watching our buddy, Marty Tripes win the very first superbowl of motocross.
And a few years later watching some kid named Marty Smith (#522) wringing the neck of one of the first red Honda's out at the 4 corners motocross track in Ramona California.
I have had a few but my most recent was when i was at my local track three weekends ago parked next to this older gentleman, Im 52, and we were just BSing about moto and our motorcycles. We start getting ready to go back out and i notice his name on his jersey … my jaw dropped. So i ask a little sheepishly, excuse me but are you Chuck Sun? he answers, Why yes i am … holy shit i’m so honored to meet you! He is cool, still super smooth on his motorcycle and we talked throughout the day about his time at Honda and winning the MXdN for the first time, so effing cool!
JMart's 2025 Millville, and then both 2017 Vegas main events.
I second this! What a spectacular ride. As a teenager I was torn between watching RC make history or watching ladies slide down the muddy hills in their bras.
Personally, my first holeshot was the coolest moment in my own local racing “career”. I’ll never forget that feeling.
Pit Row
My first 125A race. On a full gate of 40 guys, I lined up between two with many state championships. Pulled a great holeshot.
I’d say Zacko’s charge to pass Savatgy for the 250SX championship is up there
KR’s first SX win after his injury.
Or the complete negligence that his last sentence is probably what caused the down votes…
Budds Creek 2007 battle in the 250 class between JLaw, Dungey, and Grant.
I was on the fence when Stew threw that (supposedly first) scrub at Budds Creek. I was halfway up the hill, he disappeared over the crest of it and I was convinced he was crashing. Moto changed forever after that day.
Posting another one because it still baffles me; Mcadoo crashing in arguably the worst way possible, coming back from the dead and getting a third. Just another level of strength I will truly never understand.
That woke everyone up to how tough he is. I would literally be dead after that crash and he was immediately lining up on the gate 😂
Mine goes way back. Local pro Boo Stichter holeshotting the 1979 Lakewood, CO 250 national (pre Thunder Valley) and leading the likes of Hannah, Howerton and Tripes for the better half of the race. Crowd was going nuts. I think Boo finished just off the podium with a 4th. CO legend. Honorable mentions to some other local fast guys Mike Loeffler and Jay Rice in that one too.
Windham opening ceremony sends. Totally badass.
Bithlo '04. Moto 2 in +30 on the only night I went 1-1. My son was on the line for his moto & he was cheering me on during the last lap.
So glad Tim got a pic of him.
Giving Henry a hi-5 on his victory lap when he won the championship in '98 at Broome Tioga, Windom's epic comeback day at Unadilla.& LaRocco's win at Indy are my favorite Pro MX/SX moments I experienced.
