Its probably Ricky's butt plug.
You waited 6+ months to make your first post, and you lead out with that gem....?
I'm watching on my laptop through the Peacock website and an HDMI cable to my TV, and I'm not hearing anything. Always possible it's the same frequency as my tinnitus, though...
I've been hearing it for the past two weekends. It sounds like distant traffic, horns, etc.
THIS. Driving me crazy! What is it? Why is there that noise. Super annoying
I want to see a video with this sound otherwise I’m assuming yall are insane.
I heard it too. I did have to exit the race (but not Peacock) and jump back in the race to stop the video stuttering that only started with the 450 main. I don’t remember if the buzz went away then or not.
Same as most of the rest of you. It's very noticable and annoying. Only when the announcers are piped in, not in the pre recorded segments. Can barely hear the bikes, but the announcers are loud. I always start watching delayed and skip past the non racing, so I wonder if it's still there when watching 'true live'.
I just fired up the replay this morning and it's still there but much less noticable. Bike/track sounds seem to be turned up to a decent level too. Might have to start waiting until the replay is uploaded to watch the race from now on.
I think it might be noise from the drone.
I hear it too.. last couple of races. Sounds like a constant high pitched buzz.. My setup: Spectrum cable, Apple TV, LG OLED TV.
Ive only heard the sound with the broadcast.
I've watched the races on an LG tv and also my PC and no buzzing noise. Do folks hearing it also hear it on RDL?
Different but kind of the same. App on the TV was all good. On 2 remote devices, I got the Spainish announcing.
No buzzing watching on my laptop.
It’s really strange. I put the replay on to see if it was still there on the upload. First I accessed the Peacock app through the Xfinity box and went to the end of the second 250 heat race. The buzzing was pretty significant and very easy to hear after Deegan took the checkered flag and on his way to be interviewed.
Then I switched the source from the Xfinity box to the TVs actual apps and opened the Peacock app. Went to the same part of the race and it was pretty much gone. There ‘might’ have been a very small buzz, but I could have been trying to hear something that wasn’t there also.
So for me, at least this week, the buzzing was dependent on how I was accessing the app. I have nearly always used the installed app on the television so that must be why I haven’t heard it in the past.
As for the Spanish language broadcast, I’ve had that happen on my phone a few times. When I exit the broadcast and re-enter it, it always comes back in English.
Strange stuff.
Pit Row
It's JT's hair clippers.
No, it's too regular for that. The drone flies in imperfect patterns following the riders. This is like some sort of UHF signal noise getting picked up by a microphone and converted into audible sound or something, and it happens even when there's no drones flying or bikes running. It's only during the broadcast and it sounds like it's always in the mix. It gets drowned out when the announcers are speaking, but you can definitely hear it in the valleys between loud sections of the broadcast. Even when there is music playing low in the mix, I can hear it coloring the sound.
Same mine was fine no sound coming out of my surround system...
Who the f listens to the audio?? That's your fault... geezusss.... we've known for years and years the audio and commentary is the Worst in all of sports... if u are actually listening to the audio you are truly a moran...
This is legit bruh... sounds like a half dozen drones waiting to take off... it's just above the noise floor... cant be heard when they talk... if your noise floor is 85db... it's at about 91.... doesn't happen the entire time... comes and goes.. has been happening the last few weeks....
This is what I was hearing. Only was audible from the drone shots.
I am watching Peacock on the peacock app, on a samsung frame TV (samsung software is garbage fwiw) so im curious if that awful buzzing that many are hearing are on the app? or what? It drives me insane and I think its been every race-except A1
Been wanting to make a post about the sound (more of an alarm type sound than buzzing imo) and it seems to only happen when stadium/track sound is pumped in. Im watching on a smart TV, not casting. Reminds me of a piece of construction equipment backing up but more electronic which makes me think it’s some sort of feedback, possibly from the mics picking up the track noise. Really frustrating, I just watched the main on mute :/
I hear something in the broadcast that reminds me of being in the stadium, like a general hum of the air system/all the bikes together
The 5G that turns all the frogs gay
60 cycle hum? If its a low drone sound its likely a grounding issue between the audio gear. Common in audio and fixable if you can isolate it.
