10/14/2026 1:45pm Drove from CA to UT for a multiday dual sport ride. Found out midway through day one that the starter button was an intermittantly operating function. After using up all the repair options we could come up with in the motel parking lot, it was decided to head the 100 miles back tobthe truck and go back to CA.

10/9/2026 7:36am So while in college living on my own, the apartment oven had a “roast probe” that kept getting in the way. The removal of the bourbon tube did not control the oven very well. Relatively easy fix but still a oops moment.

Probably for the better. Politics ruins everything . I had really hoped the common love of moto would allow for more in-depth conversions without the dumb assumptions and attacks that people make in the real world And to be able to really learn from each other . But I saw that not even the love of moto helps . And I know I'm not innocent of saying some dumb stuff myself. I've been avoiding political stuff everyplace except for here, so it will be healthy for me to totally ignore the BS for a while and focus more of trying...

8/6/2026 7:04am Gcrites, Maybe you and my photo tell the correct story. The tank was fitted on a 1991 250. The depression for the coil seemed to be the location of the interference. Did the coil get relocated on the 1991 125? Do both 1991 and 1992 250’s have the coil in a different location from the 125’s?

7/28/2026 9:54am The list of missing bits was long. Missing bearing spacer in rear wheel. Missing steel water pump impeller. ( still available ) Carburator was too small for the intake boot.
