I have a 2015 Husqvarna FC350 and I am having a problem with it starting when its cold. I bought it with about 74hrs on it last august it now has 100hrs. As I continued to ride it I noticed that it was becoming harder and harder to start only while it was cold. I changed the spark plug, made sure that fuel was flowing through all filters so I assumed that it was low compression. I took it to my local shop they checked and told me that compression was good and my valves were still in spec. They then started to check the electrical items. They checked all the sensors, checked the majority of the wires in the harness for continuity. Everything that they checked works good and they eventually boiled it down to the ECU/ECM. I ordered one and took it to a Husqvarna dealer to get the ECU programed. once they programed the new ECU they were testing to see if it fixed it but it didn't change anything, and it still had the same issue.
I am just looking for anyone that may have had a similar issue and what it may have been. Thank you for anybody that inquires.
When was the complete fuel pump/ filter system and the injector rrplaced? 11 years is a long time in the world of dirt bikes.
I don’t know when they were replaced last but my local shop was telling me that the whole fuel system was all working perfectly normal. I also called the dealership that it’s at right now and they said that they found a few wires that were rubbed through. So we’ll see. I appreciate the suggestion though.
Did you get a number on compression reading?
It runs perfectly fine otherwise? Just hard to start cold?
Was the battery properly checked? Sometimes it can sound like cranking fine but its actually slower. A rare gremlin can also be a crack in the sparkplug connector on these bikes, causing it to short to cilinderhead. Should be able to see it when you examine it by eye

When it starts and runs it runs buttery smooth like there's nothing wrong with it. its just takes forever to start when it's cold but when its hot there is no starting issues. Which immediately made me think low compression but everything mechanical was in spec. I may look into the battery later but the dealership currently has it and they found a few wires in the harness that were rubbed through. I think that will be the issue i am just waiting for the update from them.
If still at dealer have them ck tps value
