I want to be a sexton fan, actually I am a sexton fan but this shit is just silly. They need to tell him to quit riding so far over the front and go home.

He is one of my favorite riders, but like others have said, it gets frustrating to watch. When he's "on" nobody can touch him, except for maybe Jett. I honestly think he needs a mental coach. A qualified ex-pro rider with championships under his belt. Someone who can get in his head, and flick that switch, and keep Chase in the zone. He'll go around in circles, chasing that perfect setting for his bike, that simply doesn't exist. Johnny O'Mara comes to mind as a good fit for this. Someone that can convince him that when he sees a bike in front of him, imagine it's some triple digit guy that has no business being on the track with you.

Maybe it’s time for his dad to step aside.
I taught my son to throw a baseball. If he makes it to MLB I’m not going to be his pitching coach.

I thought were referencing the week he won. As in, Rango/team put in 100 hours in the week leading up to his win. Or is that wrong? Pretty sure I'm right.

If Kawi would just get him on the old Tecate 4...his front end tuck could be finally solved.

I don't know exactly what is wrong with him, but I do know that when he is on it, I cannot think of a single guy who is faster than him. The problem with being so fast is when you are on the wrong side of the edge.

I think they went backwards this week with the suspension. In qualifying his back tire was kicking side to side in the whoops when everyone else was going straight through. In the main in the triple out of the corner to double to flat he over jumped it once and it had a weird reaction that kinda pogo'ed. Last week that bike was planted and this week it was like he went back to A1 settings.

Decoster once said the best rider to have on your team is an orphan. Like many pro riders whose parents meddled in their careers Chase may realize too late the harm his Dad has had on his.

I think its mental because he doesn't look out of control and riding over his limit yet crashes a lot. Question did he crash a lot on the honda and KTM?

Apparently he's testing a ribi front end on Monday.

DeCoster would never let that happen 😁

Pretty much says everything about Sexton's head space that after a win he'll do a 25+ minute interview with Lewis,  and after what I'm guessing is a disappointing night he'll do zero. Compare that to Eli. Eli wins...5 minute interview. Eli has a disappointing night (like last night)...3 minute interview.

I totally agree about that but sometimes the Dad is a good help, like Tomac's dad. Knows when to go in and talk, and knows when to let the team figure it out. I hope Sexton's dad is like Tomac's dad and not like Larocco's dad lol. I honestly don't know how involved Chase's dad is on everything.

Multi-Phase Chase pulled off some insane turn-speed last night on top of banzai-moves in the rhythms and combos…whoop speed didn’t suck, either.

Then…he Sextoned

New team and bike and he already clicks off a win in the first three races.  Makes a mistake in a triple crown where the track had no margin for regaining ground and he salvages a fifth for the night.

The pitchforks are coming out already?

This one was far more understandable than the last time he did it. The guy next to him went before he did. If you're not reacting the instant you see movement, you're never going to get a start. I'd give him a pass on this one.

Anderson looks better on the Suzuki

Prado looks better on the KTM

Eli looks better on Chase’s old bike

Chase looked better last year.

That`s why I struggle with my fantasy team every weekend. You know he can win easily but also get a 5th place 😅

it wasn't about the race...he had a shitty night, and snuck out the side door. That's my point in response to your comment.

You must have no idea of what you are watching other than the results...

Stalled it and stalled out first moto.

Second moto tucks the front.

Third moto. "oh shit this guy is probably going to pass everyone". Too "what the hell happened"? as everyone passes him back and gaps him

Not a hater. I was hoping he could get in there and help Hunter get aa win lol.

But if you talk like you do about yourself and teams etc, you get measured by that.

Chase can ride the same bike for the rest of his career and he’ll still be searching and making the same mistakes. As they say around here “it’s between the ears.”
