Watching closely you could tell Ando tried to make it right. Kenny is probably just upset it happened, but understands it wasn't intentional.

To think that Ken getting around J Coop in race 2 would've bumped him from 3rd to 1st...

I will expand on my comment for my 7 down voters. Hunter will probably have a long successful career. Once he figures things out he will start getting some 450 wins. He is close. But just like Windham, he will be racing against the best rider of this generation (his brother) for the rest of his career which will ultimately prevent him from reaching the top.

I see that point but Jett seems to miss a lot more time (so far at least) than RC did.

Also just watching the post race show now, Hunter was so close to saving it/not going down when he went off track in the first race, if he at least stays up then he would've won

A lot of people are mad at Prado for how he handled the Kawi situation and are looking for anything they can use to talk shit about him, fair or not. I think regardless of what you think of the guy, he's exceeding expectations by a lot so far in sx

Its gotta be a bit early to be drunk in Aus.

I usually just put stats and stays neutral here, I'm not a pro racer, not even a racer, and my view point might be boring/obvious or shared by some, but these last few weeks showed us a big contrast between 450 and 250.

So far, and I know we might have some injuries one point that will filter the championship, the 450's are VERY interesting to watch. Most riders are from the "old guard", making the races respectful, without tons of mistakes, with a lot of intelligent passes etc. And there is a group of 5-7 riders (Prado included, and that is a nice surprise despite I don't necessary like the attitude, I like the rider) that passes each others a lot. And it is nice to see a bit of yellow as well!

But for the 250's, it is hard to watch. On one side, Haiden is fast, fit and dominant. On the other side, either riders can be fast for 1/3rd of the race (Mcadoo/Difrancesco), or riders that are 2 seconds a lap slower than the lead (Vohland/Yoder), or they have a lot of up and down (Anstie/Mosiman/Kitchen). And no one responds to Haiden, just let him by.

This 250 west being, for me, very unenjoyable to watch is not only a bad thing for some of us spectators but even for Haiden. One of his only weak spots is handling competitors without being emotional. He will have hard competitors next year, and this season is not gonna help him at all to prepare being surrounded by a 5-8 fast guys that will not let you by, because right now everybody gives him gifts, willingly or not.

Ha I’m just having my last drink!
It’s 7pm Sunday night here, first beer was gate drop at 10am.

But I assume you’re talking about Motodude? I suspect he’s really a bedbug trying to make us Aussies look bad 😂

You summed it up perfectly, it certainly feels like the past couple years the 250 class has been painfully inconsistent and lacking fire outside of Haiden, which isn't going to prepare him well for the 450 class.

This is probably buried in the thread somewhere, but I forgot to ask last night. Did Chase almost stick the gate again in race 3?

Funny how no one wants to admit pradno pissed on KTM and Redbull first and then went whoring with Kawi and Monster. Then after watching what happened they took him back like cucks.
This sport used to be cool. Now it’s just as fucked up as the rest of the world.

"took him back like cucks" 🤣 Where else would they have gotten a rider of his caliber, especially on short notice? Regardless of his results on Kawi, he was a known quantity to the KTM team.

Great post I agree. I also haven’t thought about Deeg’s and this isn’t really preparing him much for 450.

I wonder how many of these guys would choose to ride SX if they could make the same or more money at MX only?

I'd like to hear Lewis or ML ask the boys, "If you could only ride one series...which would you choose if money was not a factor"?
