Stating a bruised forehead seems innocuous until adding the fact that that happened while wearing one of the safest helmets available. I’m pretty sure the surface bruise isn’t what the main concern should be.

For sure but watch that crash footage. I’m surprised he isn’t dead, it’s one of the most brutal slams I’ve seen. Especially with back-to-back head hits like that because there’s no way he wasn’t TKO’ed after the first hit.

Agreed. Just saying to pass it off as bruising seems to minimize how damaging that hit was and hope he and his family take the time to recovery from that bruise
really glad to read this racer can fully recover from that crash - the broadcast only showed his twisted motionless body on the track for a few seconds, but it was very disturbing to view.
