In the 450 class, how many riders have won a moto outdoors 450? Talking fit and currently active in sx... thanks
Coming into A1 with a gut wasn’t a good look. 2nd best offseason ever? On the other hand, every rider will have at least one bad round out of 17. I’m not writing CW2 off yet.
Long season. Relax.

How many of those riders have 3x sx titles with 30 sx wins? How many riders in the history of the sport have multiple sx titles and over 20 sx wins but only one outdoor win? I dont even know the answer but I would guess its only Webb. How many mx seasons did he just not even race? Or only did a couple races. Hes not completely lost outdoors. There's a vast discrepancy between his sx and mx results, though. Its inarguable
I’m pretty sure that if that quote were posted with a frowning Webb instead of a smiling one, it would hit different.
That's great 😂 😂 "we'll get back. I'm sure of that." Anybody not believe him?
That was the best race of that entire season
He actually looks good on the bike the times I've seen him... scrubbing hard, not struggling too much in the whoops, and cornering well. But the bad starts are really killing him, and his specialty has never been blowing through 8 riders with blistering speed. So, I think he's getting a bit frantic and making poor decisions. I believe if he turns around his starts, he'll be a regular on the podium again.
The correct question should be: How many riders in 450 SX with one or more 450 SX titles have only won one moto outdoors? Apart from Anderson - with one SX title and a few outdoor wins - Webb is a complete outlier. Generally, the top SX riders who win titles also win them outdoors...
The Silent Assassin calling the shot?
I’d argue 21 down after 2 races shows you had a couple rough races. But it’s a lot better than down 21 after 8 races…
Sexton has the whacked the beehive taking Webb down. Doesn’t matter what anybody's opinion is of the pass; he said he will pay Sexton back. Never good to have a target on your back.
...or having a stroke?
"Superstar" Webb with a great effort in qualifying at A2. Almost made the top 10!🤣
We'll see how this comment holds up after the 450 main tonight.
He's within a second and we've all seen him qualify poorly only to come back and win.
Edit:
From San Diego
“It was a tough night overall. Another crash in the heat race put me in a bad spot, but I felt like I was moving forward in the main and making good passes. Then I got taken out. When I got up, the bars were bent, levers were everywhere, and I just tried to do the best I could. It’s a bummer to have two weekends in a row that aren't great. We'll regroup and come back at A2.”
He has the #1 plate for a reason.
Pit Row
He’s one good start away from turning it around. Not counting him out the same way you can’t count Kenny out.
Because Sexton's brain's not wired correctly?
Yes. Everybody except Chase injured, and Chase throwing away about 100 easy points throughout the season only to come up two points shy in the end.
Sexton did him a favor last week, has let Webb believe or at least try to sell the story that he was heading forward towards the podium.... he wasn't.
Needs podium tonight or panic time…..
Yeah because a multi-millionaire three time champ really needs to panic.
He looked frantic during the race. I still think he will be there at the half way mark.
No reason to panic, the series doesn't start until Daytona. It's still wide open and any of the top 6 guys can win. Webb is still my favorite pick.
When's the last time you saw him that defeated? On ktm? His own words were nail in the coffin for championship. Can't imagine it's just the points deficit that has him feeling that way. Not being able to run with the guys beating him has to be part of it. He does not have the speed he had last year and he knows it.
According to Webb in the follow up show. Prado messed him up during the holeshot. And, #3 was holding him up. So, there's that.
I read him as he was very happy with his speed tonight (actually faster than Tomac which doesn't happen often) and he was pissed he made a mistake setting up the pass. He's good at getting the attention focused on everyone else so he can creep up on the East Coast and take names. There's a lot of golf left. Sexton will shank some out of bounds, Eli will have some double bogeys from the sand trap, Hunter will have a couple mishaps, and Webb will be there as he already got his double bogeys out of the way.
