To me, it looks like he's trying to get up at first, but nothing works. Then, he's not in control of those movements. Then he doesn't move.

I truly think the medical guy attending to mookie had no idea there was another guy down. Not ideal but what I really don't understand is why it took so long for anyone else to even acknowledge he was there.
He did last year; I distinctly recall a race where he had a crashed, got back up and was riding but his jersey was puffed out from the detonation.
Are you watching the reply that shows him on the ground for a minute? I think they are. As the camera pans over to Anderson at one point he lifts his left arm pretty high. I think he’s awake and in A LOT of pain in that video.

Yes, he does wear the tech-air. Which i hope may have made a significant difference in this crash.
Not really...... he quit last year. Trying this year doesn't change that. I think a lot of the criticism of him was out of disappointment. If he starts kicking ass then it just makes for better racing whether you like him or not. That's what people wanted to see.

And he actually had the 3rd fastest lap in the main (behind ET & KR) even though he was back in the pack. It looked like someone put 50 psi in his rear tire - never seemed to get consistently hooked up or into a flow and was off the track numerous times.
I suspect the race-time track conditions caught a number of them off guard - it looked loose and slick and didn't appear to be a lot of aggressive racing due to the lack of grip.

That section was dumb anyway, a rhythm around a corner before a triple is asking for trouble.. It all started by Kenny jumping 'across' in front of Mookie and spooking him, not suggesting it was either of their faults just pointing out the sequence
