Tough crowd on Kitchen however, after his crash in Daytona he's lucky to still be on the circuit.  Gonna have to be patient with him and perhaps next year is his year to shine after an offseason to regroup.

Ilike Levi a bunch. But he is struggling to find his form and even when he was on form he could be streaky. Marchbanks could probably be had on the cheap and looks tailor made for a 450. If his start issues are truly because of his size and that gets rectified with a bigger motorcycle and he rides like he has been he could deliver as a very solid #2 imho.

You're right about Marchbanks being had on the cheap. He'd probably ride for $5 bucks and a Big Mac.

If it is between Kitchen and Marchbanks for the other Kawi 450 ride, they have problems, i think none of them is good enough (right now), i might be wrong…JA21 in a good mood would still kick both their asses for coming years.

Lets just get a GP star… oh wait…🤪

I disagree.  Marchbanks is moving forward.  I'm pretty sure he would beat JA21 on a factory 450.

Not in SX - and that's all the teams care about.

The injury list in the 250 class is a mile long and Levi struggles to make a podium on a top tier team. I’d say his stock has slipped and no way is he deserving of a top 450 ride

Drew Adams reminds me of Tyler bowers.

Levi literally got 3rd yesterday… and he beat Marchbanks.

Is Shimoda signed at HRC? Kawi should go after him to ride a 450 next year. Yeah he's probably a favorite for at least one 250 title next year. Screw it, get on the 450 Jo. Look how RJ looks on the 450 now. I bet he's wishing he got on a 450 3-4yrs ago right now.

He had 2 podiums in the first 10 rounds of the series. If Hymas wasn’t out he would not have made one podium this year. Not a 450 factory ride candidate

True, but if you want the best version of Chase, you need a happy Chase, on a great bike and a in great program. You can’t deny that some of the Lawrenece’s success is due to the two being teammates, training and testing together. Same concept.

The Lawrence are a totally different dynamic than other teams.  They are totally invested in helping the team and as long as one of them wins it ok.  Other teams ‘you must beat your team mate’

Coming back from winning the last race he ran and then breaking his back…

You mean 7 or 8 years ago. RJ's almost 30.

Besides Prado, Kitchen has been about the biggest letdown on the track all year.  He’d certainly not be my first choice at this point.  Until you can win on 250s, you don’t belong on 450s.

I really though Master pool would crush it outdoors this year. Looks like he's SOL for next year.

Marchbanks is riding very well outdoors right now, but I think everyone can agree Kitchen isn't at 100% this year. Marchbanks is riding the best he ever has this outdoor season and he still isn't better than Kitchen. Again, Kitchen has a much higher ceiling than Marchbanks. (And I am a huge Marchbanks fan, huge Tickle fan and I love the story of Garrett clawing his way back on to PC).

From 2024-2025, Kitchen has won 4 Supercross races and 3 outdoor races. Kitchen won the last Supercross race he completed, this year in '25 Detroit. He has had 3 overall podiums this '25 outdoor season after coming back from that big Daytona crash.

From 2024-2025, Marchbanks has won zero races. He has had two Supercross podiums and he has had one overall outdoor podium this '25 season.

Anaheim 1 Qualifying:

Kitchen: 1:06.2 on a 250

Marchbanks: 1:07.4 on a 450 (3 seconds a lap slower than his teammate)

Tell me again why Marchbanks is a better rider than Kitchen… we will see how this season pans out, but apples to apples in SX and MX, Kitchen is a level above Marchbanks. He faster and has better results.

Moving Marchbanks to the 450 had nothing to do with Kawasaki thinking he was a better rider than kitchen, in fact probably the opposite. They probably thought Kitchen would have title hopes where Marchbanks hasn’t proven that.

PC wants Kitchen to go after a 250 title.

This is Marchbanks 2nd career 450 sx start. He did Daytona in 2022.

Pretty sure the choice was not who was the better rider of the 2 but what made most sense for Kawasaki between the needs of the 2 teams.

Well the beginning of this thread was dick riding Marchbanks pretty hard… and all saying Kitchen was trash when Kitchen had quite literally just won the last SX he actually raced before that crazy Daytona crash. Saying Garrett is better than Levi is just a joke. I’m sorry.

Still standing by the statement that Kitchen would have made the best teammate to Sexton. That duo would have given Kawi the best chance at a 450 SX title.
