In every company, all the money that pays everyone in the entire companies salary comes from profits from sales (of products or services). Without sales (of products or services), there is no money for anything. Most people don’t understand this. They think sales (of products or services) is just an arm of a company. Without products or services, you have nothing... to sell. 😄

And without manufacturing, you have no product to sell. And without engineering, you have no product to manufacture. Without payroll, you have no manufacturers, engineers, or salesman. Without sales, you have no payroll. Gosh, it's almost like everyone is necessary. Go figure.

FahQ wrote:

Do you think Suzuki has the engineers come up with the BNG’s?

The product designers do. I've met them before, in Ryuyo, Hammamatsu. The engineers are part of the product design department, and the guys who design the color schemes are part of that group, too - this is all from what I can tell, of course. I don't know the actual structure of the authority matrix.

McGrath was on pulp s Monday show.

Steve asked him about the 2 stroke, he said it's coming.

I felt he eluded to the fact that it's coming, take a listen for yourself and see what you think.

Paging Falcon, paging @Falcon

Clean up on aisle 4; more word butchery in progress. 😄

Indeed there is. For reference:

Elude is a verb which means to avoid capture.

Allude is probably the word moto9 and agn5008 were looking for; it means to make a passing reference to or to hint at something.

My post was poking fun at moto9 because he said McGrath confirmed it was coming… the said he “eluded” to it coming.

Is it just me, or does that cylinder casting finish look like it was made in a garage in India?

It's not just you.

I was trying to figure out if it was printed or just the worst mud cast I've seen.

A local dealer had a post for Kawasaki today and thought it was maybe an easter egg with the number on the bike.

That's Drew Adams. 300 was his amateur number.

Yeah I know, I still thought maybe it was a little sign of things to come.  But it could of course be totally random.

Local dealers know as much as us.

Lol half of them know less. Talked to a sales guy at the local Kawi dealer two weeks ago and he had NO CLUE there was even talk of a new 2 stroke. Just further backing up my dislike for most, but not all dealers.

What's the chances they play the same commercial at A1 again this year?

That would be hilarious, and remarkably frustrating all at the same time…

Yes but most of the dealer's social media accounts have posts automatically done by the manufacturers so this was done by Kawasaki themselves on behalf of the dealer.

Just imagine the impact if,  a year after the commercial / sound bite (that I missed entirely) Kawasaki had, say, JS come out on New 2 stroke, doing a 'demo' lap at A1!

After all of the bickering and complaining about it all, it would be quite something.

I really don't think such a thing will happen, but, it would be a Hoot if it did. 😲

Nah, Showtime is their PR guy now.  I do agree, though.  They've had countless opportunities to unveil or at least acknowledge it, but I guess their development is lagging behind.  They need to burn some midnight oil this winter.

Just imagine an A1 pre-race show where they kill the lights then, because they've put microphones in the tunnel like anyone should do, you hear a two-stroke fire up and rev several times over the PA system.  A single spotlight illuminates the tunnel exit and McGrath bursts forth on the new bike, pulls a few wheelies while the lights slowly come back on, then cranks out a few Nac Nacs.  A pre-recorded intro of the details could be played after which Mc could give his thoughts.  Of course, throw in some pyro, confetti, and scantily-clad hot chicks shooting t-shirts and throwing frisbees into the crowd for good measure.  Hey Kawasaki, do you hear me?

That's asking a lot for MC to ride a SX track on the new Kawasaki 125cc 2-stroke scooter.

Thats cause it was. SLS aluminum 3DP.

Actually a really good application for it, and can be done overseas now for CHEAP. Most parts I have seen SLS have better surface finish though.
