What happened to Shift MX Gear?

Real recognize real brotha 👌🏼👌🏼👌🏼 I loved those ONE Industry Trooper helmets, they ran the helmet game for a minute after M2R it seemed. 

I had the same setup but Answer gear because Dungey. Good times. 

Oh and a RM125. Those were the days. 

Here’s a few shots I took of Hunta and Hanny back in their Shift days, not too far before the end of Geico Honda and later Shift. I have more on my hard drives I'll try to track down if anyone's interested.

Loved the Shift gear I had when I last raced. Clean & crisp. NB, no I’m not that much of a knob, the bike was an ex display rig from Kaw and as such came with a set of Villipoto graphics on it that I’d not changed at this point, but did as soon as I could ! 

They did an amazing job of rebuilding the brand and then, pffffff, they were gone.

Sad, it was an iconic brand.

Couldn’t agree more. When Reed announced he was signing with Shift, I was so puzzled as to how someone who always looked cool was signing with the worst gear company at the time. And then boom, completely new look for shift and a 5-10 year range of being the best looking gear

One of my fav sets of gear, still have it hanging in my closet! 

My wife stumbled upon shifts website a couple months ago and days later I had two “new” sets for $100. I really dig this one. They definitely had some different but very cool designs toward the end! Always thought Hanny’s kits were out of this world sick. 

Shutting down Shift so one of the hugest Fox fails. 

Like everything, could always restart.

Maybe they decide to offer it as an alternative to the current fit of most gear, and go with a retro fit.   I bought my first set of "modern" fit gear from one industries.  I like it,  but would prefer the prior, non figure staking feel.

Shift was so cool back in the day that my AIM username had “shiftmx” in it lol

Shift had some incredibly clean looks. David Durham is an icon. 

‘Member that time Daryl Hannah wore Shift pants to host the Espy awards?  She made them the shi*t.

Dumb but genuine question: How hard would it be for someone to buy it and revive it? Would Fox sell it? Don't even need new styles, just re-release all the older ranges. 

So Cal gear is similar I,m sure they would be cheaper to buyout . I bought a new pair from HRP size 34 wayy to big for me.  I hv 2 jerseys too 20 bucks 1 of the sharpest jerseys ever saw.

Expected to see this in here but maybe it was missed? Shift logo right there in the 94…….

How do y'all have old gear that's in that good of shape!? My stuff is usually so full of holes it gets trashed. 5 years seems to be the longest I can get out of a set. My current 5 year old gear has a massive hole in the knee and the jersey has extra venting in the elbows and several in on the back...

Did anyone have this gear?
