The original email and post was in support of Justin Cooper. Not necessarily to slam Deegan. Guess I should have made my thoughts clearer.
When you say, “Please disregard TV ratings, insider moto politics or whatever, and do the right thing.” you are assuming you know why different riders are selected for team USA. Your email doesn’t make sense because we all know what assumptions do.

It seems a lot of people are going to have to get used to Deegan racing at a high level in this country for a few more years at least, with probably being included in the MXoN again sometimes.

Yeah, but you're a self professed old guy. Between forgetting your password, losing your glasses, and accidentally deleting every other email, very few will get seen. Don't ask me how I know this.
I understand having a conflict of rooting for Team USA with Deegan if you were appalled by his actions last weekend... but there's a line where I think we might be taking things a little too seriously around here.
