I’m still backing the guy. I truly believe he is the smartest person in the room. No-one in recent history has pushed that US-spec factory KX450 to the level it needs to win.

It is so far off what he needs that, in his mind, the most rational way to succeed is to visibly demonstrate dissatisfaction. Risking injury to get 5th will not get Kawi to jump to attention or get Lawi to let him go. Either is a more desirable outcome than a year or 2 wasted on poor machinery.

I hope he moves over to KTM and we can resurrect this post when he battles with Jett. He is significantly more talented than RJ & Hunter Lawrence.

Wow, I was shocked by your analysis. I couldn't disagree more. Then I remembered that you go to jail for literally thinking bad things in The UK, much less posting a critical opinion. Before you down vote that statement google it.

If you’re chase sexton and he’s really going to Kari you gotta look over there and take a massive GULP

Theoretically could we see chase eli and prado all at KTM?

Prado has already beat Jett on his gas gas within the last 12 months, so it’s obvious it’s the bike.

Maybe the bike will work for others, but these riders arnt robots.

1. Everyone would stop bashing JP if he showed a shred of parking the ego and gutting it out. His ego is preventing him from getting in the arm wrestle that’s needed to find himself in the USA.

2. I was worried for Chase going there, but his attitude toward improvement and wanting to find speed will be welcomed by the team after this season. The team will want to go to war beside him.

3. Who gets the vacant seat?

I dont think Chase is sweating it at all. I thought the same thing with Prado's early struggles. Its clear its Prado and not the bike. Tomac won a National title in '19 on a Kawi. He wons races in '21. Anderson won sx races in '22 and a National that summer. All the other bikes got that much better since then or the Kawi got that much worse? No way. The dude just completely quits out there. He loses all credibility with me from that alone

I don’t think Roczen’s interested of switching to KX. Why not Ferrandis? He has experience of the green bike when he was riding MX2 in Europe a couple of years ago. He did really well yesterday, came from the couch just as Ken but he also passed Ken and gapped him in the second moto. When things clicking for Ferrandis he is fast as f**k.

Roczen didn`t even test the bike Pro Circuit built for him during the period he tried different brands?

Eli wins on every bike he rides. Anderson switched brands and won, going from steel to aluminum frames. Roczen has won on KTM, Honda, and a completely outdated Zook. Maybe Prado IS that uncomfortable and its the bike. But its his uncomfortability with the bike holding him back. Not that the bike isn't fully capable of winning. Which it 100% is. Which just shows hes not nearly as talented as everyone thinks in that he can only win with a specific window on a specific platform. All the other top riders can switch and dont go from winners to top 15 riders

All enjoyed bashing Prado? Let me ask you a question: What are "the big" results from Jason Anderson on that green bike and where is he now? Sometimes a team works hard but doesn't get any results because of politics, ego, ... examples: Kawasaki 450 in the USA, Yamaha 450 in Europe. Both bikes are competitive if you look over the pond.

You could ask yourself what results Kawasaki has got since signing Davi Millsaps and Will Hahn...

Well, since you asked…….

Well, since you asked…….

Dude I totally agree but the only similarity among the teams there and here is brand and color. Management, ethos, culture, staff, everything is different. Idk. Not my decision I just hate to see chase find his stride in the orange bike this well and move. I’ll be heartbroken for him if it’s not a good season over bike issues.

These guys are hired to develop these bikes, not adapt to them. They’re expected to help the factory make improvements. To do that, they need to be able to ride, and not sit on the couch recovering from injury.

I think the look will only get worse next year when we compare his results on same bike as Chase

Prados struggles display the grit riders like Vialle, Guillod, Paturel, Ferrandis, and even the Lawrence brothers display coming to a new country, new series, new customs and race their best. Lot of great foreign riders who have come to race in the USA and over came the insurmountable odds Prado can not.

Not saying it's the bike but hard to compare the GP vs U.S. bike.

Do the GP bikes have a way to deal with the rider quitting that the US bikes don’t?

And can’t get the fact that we’re all cheering on Paturel, Kullas, Guillod and others coming over and having great performances for the situation they’re in…. Unlike Prado.

The Kawasaki is allegedly very production based for the mxgp teams.

Quitter! He could be on his factory euro bike and still be getting smashed. He doesn't have it for this stuff.

Canadian champ, mxgp leader, Mitchell Harrison beating him half the time, and people still arguing it's the bike....... hilarious what people will convince themselves of before they'll admit they were wrong or change an opinion.

Yeah, are we missing something here? Prado won his qualification race at mxon 2024 (which Jett wasn't in), but did nothing close to that in the main motos and didnt get a podium in either moto. Prado won the first moto in Ernee mxon 2023 when Jett went down off the start, but thats all I can conjur up.

He’s a Primadonna used to works motorcycles these bikes are so closely built that any rider should be able to win on any motorcycle even a Suzuki. He should be respectful with the mechanics engine builders suspension etc working hours to make him comfortable on the bike.  He thought he was going to come over be the top guy in the outdoors until he got a reality check how fast the top10 was,  since he’s not getting the results it’s got to be the bike personal the team etc. to me…. He looks out of shape fades halfway through the race (or the bike gets slower?) I think he should work on himself mentally physically be 100% ready for 26 forget about the rest of the year…… look in the mirror get yourself right before it’s to late.

All Europeans look the same to me anyway, and who can find Slovenia on a map to begin with? Gajser put it to Jett that one time so it's obvious prado is having bike issues.

If that's not what this bot user name account is referring to then I have no idea what he's talking about.....

So if he’s incapable of adapting to a bike that is leading the world championship, how is that not his fault?

MXGP test all winter, chop up frames, can do so much more to get the feel a rider wants.

Prado is only used to steel chassis, so when the bikes not doing what he expects he’s chilling out a bit.

Sure not all riders would do the same, but not all riders would win MXGP championships.

I seriously think you guys lack patience, I expect if he can’t figure the bike out then he’ll go back to steel at some point soon & draw a line under it.

Is it worth him getting injured on this bike trying to get a podium if he’s not sure what the bikes doing ?
