Wasn’t there an incident in that class one year where the winner got his bike protested so that rider protested the second place finisher because they knew they were caught but also knew second were also cheating and it ended up being like the top 7 or 8 riders got there bikes torn down in a chain of protests and they all had cheater parts so the win defaulted to the ninth place finisher?

Simple solutions...bone stock pw 50's. Race gas, aftermarket tires, and aftermarket bars and clamps are only changes allowed. Or they could provide the 50's for all the kids and keep them in a location where no changes could be made. Expensive but would cut out the BS.

I think I got the inside scoop - I seemed to remember KDub making a comment about this kid that involved ice cream, so I went back and watched their race on Day 3 and sure enough, he said something about asking him if he was going to get some ice cream and the kid said, "no, I don't need to gain any more weight!".

Add to this the fact that he couldn't outrun Crocker to the finish line, even with 20% more displacement, and we can't say he had a power-to-weight advantage. 😄

All kidding aside, whoever set the kid up for this disappointment - and also deprived the real winners of their moment in the spotlight at the race - needs to take a long, hard look in the mirror and re-evaluate their priorities.

Someone on facebook was saying the pw class also had a dad fist fight. His kid doesn’t race 50s so not sure if that was hearsay or he saw it. 

Super sad for the kid. He likely would have won without cheating. Why set him back and let that follow him? Knowing who his parents are now leaves me baffled why they thought they could get away with it.

Gotta make sure junior has every advantage for the pw50 class at Loretta’s lmfao what’s next, some kid made his 350 pass inspection as a 250 and won?? 🤣🤣🤣🤣

I bet the lil guy saved his paper route money and his allowance,then by reading motocross forums decided he wanted certain modifications made to his PW because he knew there was going to be cheaters in his class and he wanted the win. Back in the day, stock class were identical bikes. only edge was the rider.
