What amazes me is all the money and effort that went in to this race….with zero contingency thought or planning. I look at weather for an airport the day before I fly there, and already know if thunderstorms are a strong possibility. Moving forward they need to 1. Contract contingencies with the venue to include sliding a day, 2. Have a plan to shift early or late to make the races, all the races, happen. 3. Check the damn forecast, which can be really pretty precise nowadays, so you can excersize #2. Or…4. Use covered stadiums with an outdoor portion...

For an event of this magnitude, how do you not have a contingency plan for weather?

I can’t believe they even hold a race at that venue with those concrete walls everywhere. It’s unsafe in dry weather let alone wet. It’s an accident looking for a place to happen . Just my opinion.

I wonder how the parent explains that to his kid, I mean, the kid crossed the line in first and in his head he won. Then he gets DQ'd....the win and trophy get taken away.....how does the cheating parent explain that to his kid?? Probably has to come up with a bullshit story...ie...lie to the poor kid.

A DQ is not enough punishment for being caught cheating. Maybe a 1 year exclusion from all racing will deter folk from cheating. Feel bad for the kid but the parents need to be held accountable.

The limited class at Loretta's should be all bikes supplied by the manufacturer and all you can do is bring your own suspension, leaver and bars.

Simple solutions...bone stock pw 50's. Race gas, aftermarket tires, and aftermarket bars and clamps are only changes allowed. Or they could provide the 50's for all the kids and keep them in a location where no changes could be made. Expensive but would cut out the BS.

Wasn’t there an incident in that class one year where the winner got his bike protested so that rider protested the second place finisher because they knew they were caught but also knew second were also cheating and it ended up being like the top 7 or 8 riders got there bikes torn down in a chain of protests and they all had cheater parts so the win defaulted to the ninth place finisher?
