In regards to Lewis’ interview with Jorge, I don’t think he was out of line in the slightest. Prado is a reigning world champion who is getting his ass handed to him weekly, he’s gotta expect some tough questions. Lewis is asking questions that the fans want answers too and he is well aware that if he pushes too far then he won’t be granted future interviews or won’t get “inside” info.

I still like Ping’s interviews with the legends of the sport. I don’t listen to much WT besides those, though, so I probably don’t hear as much of the political stuff that people are referencing. The stuff that I have heard is not even so much political as much as it’s labeling anything that he disagrees with as ‘lib’. It’s almost like there’s no actual thought behind it, it’s just a handy pejorative to use for anything one doesn’t like.

Its sad really as i enjoyed the entertainment that ping, GL and Steve brought when they worked together.

Yeah, not sure what got those two’s nuts so twisted up in that interview. Lewis asked some questions that others might not have, but Prado almost looked relieved to be able to talk about the situation with someone that he has some history with.
I think that you have to chalk this one up to simply jealousy that someone ‘new’ in MX media might be doing a better job and gaining more attention than the ‘old guard’.
Maybe they were already looking for an excuse to get ride of his drunk ass and the jab was just a convenient excuse?

I was the one that called in that night and started the whole conversation. I said Haiden was intentionally trying to start shit with the Lawrences and that he was making a conscious effort to pit American fans against the Lawrences for his own gain, all under the guise of being an American patriot. I also said he was an idiot for praising Andrew Tate, a convicted sex trafficker, on the podium. The conversation was NOT about how waving an American flag is bad.
