I love castor oil but always had separation issues with three different brands. Found that castor 927 (syn/castor blend) mixes excellent and never looked back.
Rotella gang checking in. T6 15-40 my flavor of choice for engine oil. Change it every other ride
Maxima for fork oil. Cheap tusk air filter oil that I got during their sale. Change filters every ride and it seems decent
Engine oil: Motorex. I keep considering others but it shifts and functions perfectly so I shouldn’t change.
Filter oil: Bel Ray. Haven’t changed.
I try to avoid Break Fluids.

Engine oil: maxima plus and rotella depending on the day. I change oil every ride and oil filter every other
Trans: maxima mtl or run maxima plus in both sides, don't like the clutch feel of rotella, have ran a bunch of atf type f
Filter oil:belray
2t: k2 or klotz
Whatever is readily and consistently available in your local area
Was using Motorex two stroke and engine oil
Switched to motul for engine oil, seems to run a bit cooler in the four stroke. Still use motorex 2t oil
Use pre oiled pro filters air filters. used to use twin air when i cleaned filters
Gas, used to use renegade. Place we got it from quit selling it. Now use VP and sub in av/pump gas when i don’t plan ahead and run out of VP lol
Engine oil - I’m pretty strict about fresh Motorex every 5 hours for my KTM 4 strokes - less fussy about 2 strokes (not saying it’s rational). Usually Motorex for 2 strokes but I’ve sometimes used Motul 710 and Maxima Super M - both slightly cheaper than Motorex and both quite good.
2 stroke gearbox - usually Motul 7100. Excellent results for the price.
Maxima for basically everything else - filter oil and cleaner, coolant, brake fluid, chain lube - except I like to put some Torco octane booster in premix for a 2 stroke.
Maxima extra, maxima everything else except for coolant, that’s hondaline
Rotella T4 in everything for awhile now
Motul 800 in all my 2 strokes
I might be odd man out on this one but I still use PJ1 air filter oil spray. Used it religiously as a kid on my bikes and still works for me
Used to use Lucas then they cut all amateur support overnight. Switched to Amsoil and found it to be good enough I just signed up to be a dealer. Try and make a few bucks and have things in the trailer for guys. Twin Air filter oils.
Maxima for most of it. I used to use Motorex but I don't notice a difference. For "break" fluid, I'm running Water, Gatorade, and the occasional cold one 😂.
Gearbox: Rotella T4, TwoStroke: Motul 800, Brake Fluid: Motul RBF 600, Filter Oil: Maxima FFT, Grease: Motul squeeze tube and Maxima tub
These have been my staples for decades.
Motul in everything 2 and 4 stroke, use to use Belray filter oil for years but it started getting super thick and hard to work in, so shifted to Motul with no issues, more like the old Belray filter oil.
Rotella T6 sometimes I use Maxima Pro Plus….can’t tell the difference…
Maxima air filter oil…
Amsoil dominator premix….TMR suggested….
Maxima chain lube on non oring chains…oring safe silicone based autozone spray on my orings chains
Maxima brake fluid
Maxima grease
Not sure why I use Maxima so much….I guess I like to keep the Dogger living his best life 😂
Same here...
Rotella T4 for over 20 years in everything from my diesel pusher, my generator, and every bike I have owned since 2003.
Motul 800 for two stroke oil
Motul 600 or 660 for brake fluid
Rotella T4 in 4T gearbox.
Type-F ATF in 2T gearbox.
NoToil air filter oil. Love the biodegradable stuff, so easy to wash out.
Maxima grease.
Motul 5.1 brake fluid.
Maxima 927 2T oil.
Switched from Motorex to Maxima Pro Plus last year because the price of Motorex has gotten out of hand. Haven’t noticed a difference in performance or longevity… both drain with a gold tint after 5 hrs.
Pit Row
Rotella T6 for life!
2T premix is Motul 800. Gearbox oil on my 2T's I use Pro Honda HP 80-85 weight (It's red in color and I run it in my KX's and YZ 2T's).
Gearbox oil for my 4 strokes is Mobil 1 Racing 4T 10w40 full synthetic. The oil works great, shifts are smooth, and every 4 to 5 hours, the oil is still very clean when changed. Clutches last longer as well
4t engine oil motul 7100 10w50 or belray 10w40 thumper.
2t engine oil belray 80w gearsaver.
2t in fuel motul 800 or belray si7
Belray on airfilter.
Motul 660 brakefluid.
Motorex chainlube
Engine Oils: I use Ecstar r9000 or kawasaki full synthetic
Gearbox Oils: Maxima mtl
2 Stroke oil: Maxima super M or 927
Break Fluids: OEM
Filter Oils: Maxima fft
Grease: Maxima
Gas / fuel additives: Maxima high test
Only 1 page in almost 24 hours? You guys are slacking.
I was using Rotella T6 up until about a week ago in my YZ 250x. The clutch seemed to be slipping and the oil smelled burnt 🤷♂️ I switched to Valvoline motorcycle oil and it’s been fine since.
I use Amsoil Interceptor premix. Maxima FFT air filter oil. Honda with moly chain lube.
Yamalube everything
I don't think fresh oil will fix a burnt clutch...
I don’t either. I never said it burnt my clutch up. I just said the oil smelled burnt. Maybe that’s just how rotella smells. I don’t know but I’ve put about 4 hours on since changing from Rotella and it has been completely fine. No slipping and no burnt smelling oil.
T6 is an awesome oil for it’s application. I use it in my diesel and my lawn equipment that operate under 4k RPM. It is known to foam at some point around 6K RPM though. Today’s Rotella isn’t the same as it was before the API CK-4 spec. I stick with Maxima’s Pro Plus or Motul 300v.
maxima everything
I used Rotella for years in my four strokes. Changed the oil often. I always could smell the Rotella oil after I ride. I abuse my clutch more than most people, so I change the oil more often than most. I have changed to Valvoline motorcycle synthetic last year, I now go longer between changes. Happy with either oil.
