Check out this video by directMX...gopher dunes
That's Gopher Dunes in the video. Sand de Lee is next weekend.
The holes that develop at Lommel, Belgium swallow bikes. Of the tracks I’ve been to, none more gnarly than Lommel.
Claude Osteen’s
Leirop has to be up there.

Glen Helen at the end of a big race day can match anything in the world I think.
That would be my pick also. Saw several GP's and a MXdN there, track is just crazy deep.
Dutch beach race?
Some belgian/dutch stuff seems waaaaay rougher to me. Lierop and Lommel come to mind.
But also the third hour at some beach races like Le Touquet in France...
Beach races are super rough, but it’s an unfair comparison with a motocross track. Apples and oranges.
Yes, there's a hell of a difference between an MX track, and a Beach race.
Very different Animals.
If you've ever been to the Finke - and tried riding it After the 2 days of the Cars and Bikes going 'There and Back', it's a fugging Big Ask. I (foolishly) rode the course back from Finke the day after, a fair few years ago, and it was, shall we say, unpleasant. Bugger actually racing that event - it Does Not Appeal To Me. I'm a (Very ) 'Fraidy Bear' when it comes to those sorts of speeds, on that sort of Terrain.
I've also ridden Lommel and Valkenswaard, Markelo (after a Sidecarcross event - talk about Ruts that you have No escape from) and Kegums / Zelta Zirgs when it was far more of a Sand Track than it is nowadays ( I rode my first 350 KTM there), after events, and that, Is Nightmarish. How they rode 40+2 laps on that sort of terrain, I Do Not know. The current 30 + 2 is fearful enough. Euro Sand tracks, are something else.
Finke is a beast, but yeah euro sand tracks are where it’s at if you’re talking roughest moto.
For hard edges yeah our local clay track is all square holes too. It stings your hands etc I think it’s worse on your body than deep sand. Last Thursday no one was there riding I rode the little track. Dyracuse Wi. Rapids is deep sand & threw the big trees & hills. I rode the sx track that had clay for jumps berms r deep sand tho & other parts . You hv to be in great shape. I didn’t hv sand tires on so driving out of deep berms was tough . Jump down a hill land in whoops then a dip then a deep berm. 30+ mph to 2 mph in the berm your upper body feels that. A pro from Florida said it’s way deeper than Fl. Sand . He did motos on the main track . All the deep sand tracks are rough . 10 bucks to ride rapids today other days 20.
Back in the day Carlsbad would be right up there. It seemed that they never grated the track except for the start and and a few turns past that.
No those holes are no where as deep as the local track here . Riders that did LL for yrs say it’s much rougher. And LL is pretty dam rough.
This would actually be a pretty good question for Lindsey to ask all the top guys.
No longer around, but Cocoa Beach (Brevard County Offroad Park) was the roughest I have ever ridden. I've heard many others say the same.
Gopher was the roughest track that I've ridden. If there are rougher tracks out there, I don't want to ride them 😂
Can someone tell me who the "Bob The Cooler Co." trophy girl is? Canadians, chime in
Pit Row
Which one?
One in the video, at the 10:30 mark. Not fair y'all up north have the best trophy girls. She's a gem
Gopher Dunes not anywhere near roughest track. That is american rough but nothing like riders do in EU.
The one on the left is new, so I can't help you there, but the one on the right is Madison Heighington.
Edit: The one on the left is Ciel Martineau.
Lommel is the roughest I’ve rode ( leirop looks just as bad if not worse )
Thanks Maverick, I found Madison by going to there Insta because it looks like she's done a lot of work for them. Even Monster Energy. But yes, Ciel is a looker. Thanks again, hope she does well in promotions and modeling. She'd be the hottest girl in TX
In my opinion on of the roughest tracks is one that’s not with us anymore, and that would be Diamondback in Cocoa Beach Florida. The first lap of practice would be the only smooth one. Seen it rain all day, and most of the night before the race. Hardly even a puddle on race day. It was one of Hannah’s favorite tracks during The Winter Ams, and wow has some of the greats in history have raced it.
Good eye Bro , she’s cute. 95 we drilled under the Ottawa River for the biggest pipeline ever under a river In Canada. Clubs r open a hr later in Quebec I dated a ton of beautiful women up there . Dream dates Very special women. Hard to explain everything about them but you wish you could marry all of them . A couple did topless art modeling for calendars etc, ah soo nice. Tv did a 20 min special on us that helped too pull the chics. Trucking mostly tanker there too . One night I went out I,m leaving with a chic from the bar . And a real drunk guy was saying you Americans this & that then he punched me in the head in the taxi . I just said don’t worry bro , we,LL name the baby after ya. Haha. Taking a water break here working on bikes on blacktop.
Sure Brad Todd ls over in America to do a few races, Ask him and he will tell you it is not Lommel it is Tain in the far north of Scotland
Blonde she was all looking around then looks into the camera . I think that’s Gorke from America. I screen shot it perfect for ya. Here’s the the thing about Quebec even if there a rare 6 they move sooo Sexy . Most are 7-10,s. A French explorer discovered Green Bay on its 2nd English name originally it was a French name . Midwest , northeast states all the same . You should see the Naitive American women here . Originally from ny. There land went into Quebec so there mixed with the French , Gorgeous women. Hell my Great x2 Grandma married a French guy over there.
Cocoa Beach and the rim track at Croom for sand tracks in the states.
