With Deegan out of 250 mx next year- Vialle would have to be the fav to win outdoor title. 450sx and 250mx..do folks do that?

He won 2 250sx titles. He has to move to 450s

So, losing Tom V. and nobody coming over? That’s not great news.

Are the Honda rumours for a MX2 ride or MXGP?

Can still ride 250 outdoors, but has to ride 450 SX.

MXGP... unless they reinstitute the Herlings Rule for MX2.

I dont care who you are, rookie 450 sx and mx season with tomac and plessinger as team mates must be pretty intimidating

The Vialle rumor's looking good and honestly makes so much sense, once the shock wears off. Shrewd move.

I reached out about the Kay rumor and my good source hadn't even heard that before I mentioned it, so yeah.

Surly he’s making more money the US between all his contracts and bonuses. Is this move based on KTM not having the funds, him not wanting to do 450 SX or HRC giving him a very strong contract for a presumably number 2 rider? Or will be the number 1 guy?

Definitely makes sense to cash out with that opportunity.

Scoops Lew: Could Herlings come to America to fill that 3rd 450 spot for MX and SMX playoffs?

I think the only reason they were going to have a 3-man 450 roster is because Vialle was going to be forced up. If he goes back to the GP’s, I don’t see KTM running three 450 guys next year, especially with Eli on the team.

LeBig just posted on Vitals Insta page that it’s not happening for what that’s worth.

I think it’s clear that something never clicked during his time in the states.

Yes, he got two SX titles that I think nobody including him self never thought that he would get. But with his struggles outdoors and his really good MXdN ride in France, I think he misses Europe and  maybe believe that it suits him better.

He banked in some good money in the states and I doubt that he would become a title contender in the 450 class in the US so why not go back to the GP’s if he can secure a well payed HRC ride.

Maybe he misses the schedule aswell. Having the whole off season/winter to only prepare for MX, way more off weekends/holidays. Maybe he thought about the 450 schedule in the US and was like: "No way I'm doing this for the next couple years" haha.

Anyways, hope he doesn't regret anything and ends up with whatever he likes more, he will be a factor in both the US and MXGP.

I forgot to mention the fact that he went to US because he did not feel ready to get on a 450 in the GP’s, and he might go back for the same reason of not wanting to ride SX on one.

Stephan from LeBigUSA is very close to the Vialle family, I think he would know and wouldn’t post this comment if it was really happening.

Also they announced he had a contract (didn’t say if he signed already tho) with KTM and that Tom was excited to ride 450 SX and was gonna move up wether he won a second sx title or not.

wins MX2 title. Goes to America, MXON winner, wins 2x 250sx titles. Becomes the last guy to beat Deegan for a title. packs it up and heads back home.

that's wild and i would not have believed you if you told me this would be the outcome back in 2022

Just weird, at some point it appears, some riders race against the best to be the best.

Webb in SX, Jett obviously, Eli and even Hunter are competing, as is Aaron,  Kenny a few years ago etc...and other riders not so much.

I get a rider has to make decisions  for his best interest. But from a competitive perspective it certainly looks like he is ducking any competition. In the US he would be lucky to be 10th....in 450s.

If he's ducking competition why did he not just sandbag the 250 SX title, stay in 250s and be a title favorite in 2026 (provided Deegan moves up)?
Also RJ sits 6th in points. Tom has beat him in points every single time they raced each other, starting his rookie season.

Tom has to race 450 SX…are you saying he does that and then races 250 outdoors?

Couple years on 450mxgp, get strong, make great money etc. Come back to USA for 450SMX and make more money in 3 years.

Seems a smart lucrative 5 year plan.

Yeah because he won the title again this year. If he moves to Europe because he doesn't want to ride 450 in the US why did he not lose the SX title on purpose so he can stay in 250s?

It's unfortunate that Deegan got in his head and derailed a world champs' US sojourn after only a few seasons.

That would put him at a disadvantage for either of the SMX titles, if those are important for the teams yet.

It could be something as simple as the KTM contract only being for next year but Honda might be offering 2-3 seasons for him to sign.

If it happens, any chance of KTM keeping Sexton on by matching any Right of First Refusal?

Sexton, Tomac, and Plessinger would make for an interesting team…..!

You do know that those SX Titles…even in the 250s…come with a really nice check attached, right? 🤣

Huh, strange because I specifically remember him beating Deegan in the only SX championship they've raced against each other
