Queing crybaby Meister. "It's just not fair."
I thought 25 and 50 were the only classes a pro with points could race. Did the rules change?
25+ 40+ and 50+ can be raced by pro license holders
30+ and 40+ are "sportsman" no pro license riders allowed
edited to add sportsman.
Close, the Sportsman classes are eligible for former AMA pros that have not made a SX Main or scored a top 20 point in Motocross

Good job Chad where proud of ya. Andrew Short swept 40+ at Millville too.
Hopefully he goes and has fun regardless of if Tate makes it.
I love to see it, hope Chad goes and races.
Where are all those people that hate Alessi and Brownie because they go race amateur races and kill everyone, or is it because it’s Chad Reed instead so now it’s ok?
Now Reeds just gotta convince his buddy stew to start prepping for Loretta’s next year
I would love to line up with Reed! Mx sports be rolling out the red carpet for Reeds entourage ….
You know the drill. Lol
Like Brown, I have mad respect for Chad and his family. Would love to see him in a vet pro with others like him.
Moneys on Short. Dont tell Chad.
Should I look for a #38 thats a little special racing with them? Or you just a couch potato who rips smokers here n there? If i make it in 40 next year, ill run 38 just for you. Lol
As if Tate wasn’t racing with enough pressure on himself, now he’s racing so his dad can go race as well. He looks much better on the big bikes, just can never put a moto together.
I can see why he would only want to go if Tate gets in, with his accomplishments its probably hard to get motivated to be out in Tennessee heat and humidity for a week to do some amateur racing just for himself not the kids.
Reminder - Emig showed up in 02' & 03' and won 3/4 titles (he lost a class in 02' thanks to a DNF if I recall). He won the pro-sport against the young kids getting ready to go pro, as well as the +30.
For reference, that's the equivalent of Eli Tomac/Zach Osborne showing up this year.
I can't think of a much more "hey, wasnt that dude on TV holding a #1 plate not that long ago?" than Emig.
Wonder if anyone will sign up under the #22 before Reed gets his hands on it......
To all those crying; you should have been at "Club Days" here... Anderson, Reed, Ham, and many others that were not local always stole your "glory". It was an absolute pleasure and a privilege.
My first thought was Stew needs to go to LL to keep Chad from winning 😂 😂
10 pager once the arguments over ex-pros racing LL start
Tate is looking more like Chad on the bike, but the upstairs is his problem it would appear. Hope Chad does LL simply because he has never had the chance, and it is pure moto here in the states at the Ranch. Everyone should experience it.
Of course he did…
Did Tate qualify? I would think Chad wants to experience it with his son.
Pit Row
No. Last chance is dilla this weekend
Are there any Loretta’s qualifiers left? I can race 40+. Hopefully I can make Loretta’s and then I can claim Chad’s bike so I could tell everybody I have Chad Reed’s dirtbike.
Careful! Yamaha is involved now so you might end up in an interrogation room.
/s for anyone taking this seriously.
There's one left - in Unadilla tomorrow: https://mxsports.com/event/unadilla-mx
Life long pro multi time champion racing against much less gifted true amateurs who been working real jobs all their lives is fooking stupid...
It's about as level for competition as Reed racing against current pros... luckily for Reed, fro, brown, etc they can drop back down and crush amateur guys when they get old... lmaooooo ... just shows who has character, who does not...
C’mon, Chris. You’ve been around long enough to know that James would crash his brains out!
😂😂
Eh, it's just an amateur race. There's no prize money. If I made it to Loretta's and the only person who beat me was Jeff Emig, I would still feel pretty good about the experience. Trophies can be cool, but the experience is the biggest value.
I get what you are saying, but that's sorta the problem. When these former factory riders qualify for an amateur race, it takes a spot from the average Joe who'd like to experience LL's.
How in the heck do these work exactly? Like, what determines which regional you can ride, or if you advance out of the area qualifier, can you go to any and all regionals?
This defiantly shows YOU have no character that's for damn sure.
I don’t know the stipulations, but I know someone from the Midwest who lived in the Southeast at a training camp and went to a LLAQ in SoCal. Try and make that one make sense.
Hope Chad goes and Races Shorty. Sucks that Brown will not be raining. Who thinks Bubba will race next plus 40. Lol
