I take no issue with these athletes sipping their drinks or having a nibble in a post press conference. They burn what they eat and need to replenish.
Same journos in the pressor every week and it's a pretty laid back vibe in there. These guys all know each other very well.

We always called them Dagwood dogs at northern nsw, tweed heads area!
Well, Boom, there's species of bird called Drongo.
But, basically we used it to call someone a bit silly, stupid, goofy, or who's a bit of a Galah (another Bird reference - let's say 'Bird Brained' ).
It can be used as a pejorative - though, a pretty mild one. Or, (most) often a friendly scold, or a term of endearment.
Gerg took it the way I meant it, but it sure as hell doesn't mean we are going to 'pash on'..........🙃 I'd have beer, or other beverage with him, though.
