But when you can’t be friends or even get along with someone because they have different political views then you then your the problem no matter left or right. It’s pretty inter3sting that Gypsie allied himself with that group. I understand the MX podcast wars, it’s a very small market, they’re all hunting for the sem ads budget and in tiny micro-demographic like this, they’re don’t bring new sponsors, new ad clients, they can only make it by stealing budget from the other medias, other podcast guys. So makes sense that jealousy, ad budget, personality differences, guys like Gypsie acts like a hyena everytime he can get an opportunity to attack Matthes.
It’s the sad thing with these micro-demographic markets, they’re businesses don’t bring new customers, they don’t growth the pie, they just keep dividing and stealing from the same pie.
This is a reasonable post on pings part of taken at face value. We don't have Matthes side, obviously, but I would contend saying anything critical about Kavanaugh given what little substantive evidence there actually was against him, is grounds for suspicion and Ping is reasonable for calling it out. Maybe there are other reasons Matthes didn't return pings call, but I don't think you can find fault with what he wrote.
Well, it you're following your own logic the riders Steve is calling out shouldn't have been commenting on the Pride stuff either. You could say it involves moto because it was a post from SMX in which case the riders are discussing moto related topics. Further, Steve commenting on their comments is also moto related. In reality it is political.
Leaving that aside, I found it outrageous that in this day and age people could be that bothered by gay people. Further, there is not a single major sport or motorsport in the world in which top or former top athletes would could out and say that stuff. I'm surprised the companies they worked for didn't sanction them. I wouldn't advocate that by the way, as I'm not a supporter of cancel culture or cancelling of free speech.
But as for the riders involved. If they have a problem with being gay, lesbian and so on, I have to ask why and on what basis? If their problem was not with being gay as such, but there being a Pride month, that is a different question. If that is the case they should have put that in their posts.

If I remember correctly Steve versions why not having Ping on the show was that he was demanding a lot of money compared to others hosts at the time. Obviously we will never know the real reason 100% but it’s word against word and it’s Steve’s show so he decides who he has on and if that hurt Ping maybe someone should check their ego.
I liked Ping earlier, but he’s been a really sensitive and whiny the last years. The Roczen bike debacle was such a shit show and how he hates Ken since then.
