Bench Racing | Hangtown National The Motos

Beating Jett for the season remains a tall order. It is nice to another moto winner at least. 

Not sure if it’s been mentioned yet but I noticed Eli is wearing the same color scheme as his historical beatdown at Hangtown from a decade ago. 

Lets hope Eli saved something for the second moto. He didn't look too tired.

Hell, even Eli's bike didn't look great, mainly in the corners.  I'm no bike expert but it just looked to be kicking around a lot.

Every race thread going back to '24 sx 90% of his comments are anti-Jett. I'd say hes triggered

Great to see Eli win, but on that note I hope they make some changes to Jett's bike so we can have a good race next moto

Came together with Di Francesco, looked like his arm/hand/elbow had contact with Di Francescos rear wheel and he pulled out of the race

What happened to Prado at the end? 1:41 behind Eli.

Kind of a bummer but it seems that way. He seemed absolutely gassed up there but it might also be the disappointment that he got caught again at the end of a race. 

I loved every minute of that moto, but I see Yamahas point. At some point you have to look to the future. 

I will say though, I would keep Eli over giving Coop a raise even if that meant he left. Everyone keeps talking about how much more money he will be getting next year. I assume that was in his contract though, so that probably isn’t an option. SX title or not, I would take Eli over Coop any day. I would bet they will retire about the same time anyways.

He crashed and looked to have caught his arm in the back wheel of #25. Wasn’t confirmed but from the shot it could’ve gone either way.

Dropped anchor 

From live timing it looked like he just gave up with 3 - 4 laps to go. Went 15sec slower all of a sudden. Either bike issue or more likely heat related I guess

You could see him hit the wall and just hang’n on.

Jett claiming he was conserving energy but looking the most tired of the 3 and also sounding depressed. Not sure I buy it. I like him but he struggles to admit defeat.

Paul in 7th on a day this brutal is looking promising for this summer. I’d bet he’ll be in the top 5 soon.
