HRC continues to dominate starts...

The other manufacturers just can't figure out the magic.  HRC has been dominating starts for a while now.  Watch Hunter make everyone else look like they are going backwards at @ 19:07

Also, looks like RJ pulls a nice long wheelie from the drone view.

Hunters' holeshot was probably the best I've ever seen ever.

Get rid of grates,  limit holeshot device depth and thennn lets see what's what.

Seems like whatever start setup they have works even better outdoors than sx. How can you beat Jett when hes at the front every moto ?

They have the tcs dialed in perfectly.  You would think the other manufacturers would focus on this also.

Hunters' holeshot was probably the best I've ever seen ever.

Then you've never see Danny Magoo Chandler's holeshot at the MXdN.

Those rear shocks have some kind of “squat control” on the z axis. 🤫

Sure but in the mean time, why can’t any of the other factories mimic what they’ve figured out?

I'm not sure it's the grates and holeshot devices. Jorge Prado is one of the best starters the sport has ever seen, his holeshot device is about as low as one can go, and he starts on the same grate as everyone else...but Jett and Hunter still smoked him off the gate yesterday.

Reaction, then getting the power down. HRC clearly have done their homework.

100% watching Pala Jett getting on the gas coming out of the Apex that thing is hooking up and going.

Yup compare that to Eli's yammy that is revving it's tits off and not getting as much drive

You can’t have it both ways. As you say, Eli tries to blow up his bike, hammering the clutch and asking for all the power in the world to make the bike ”faster”. But it all comes at a cost.

If you can ride the bike in lower RPM’s and actually chase traction instead of power out of it ofc if will work better.

Same thing as JS rant on the broadcast about Eli’s bike not looking as good as Jett’s, any normal person that rides a bike understands and know that if you ride a 450 on the rev limiter, the suspension won’t work as good since it will brake traction and start to bounce everywhere.

When you look at the two Honda 450’s I would not describe them as powerful, I would call them efficient.

Eli’s Yamaha is powerful..

Not that the bike isn’t great, but I give the nod to the Hunter brothers. They have great start skill.

Same can be said for Alessi, I mean unless all the teams he rode for had that much better of a bike too…

Jett used to get good starts on his HRC 250. Not to the amazing level he's getting now on the 450. But consider that his 250 was down on power to the PC and Star bikes and he was one of the bigger 250 rider.

That was back when starts involved skill.  Now there's just too much tech involved along with the lame grates.
